Their GPS in english was hardly any different from non-english GPS. The only 'english' things in their gps is its main menu, a fraction of the main menu. The voice direction is in korean as well.

Aside from that, their GPS is waaaaaaaay superior than what we can have here in malaysia. All you need is the telephone number of the place you wanna go and you are all set. So if you have flyers with you, or a Lonely Planet guide book (though it may be outdated a bit) it well help you greatly.

It will warn you of speed trap and road bump, extremely accurate, very responsive and very detailed display yet still easy to see and non cluttered. So you can pretty much speed like crazy and slow down when approaching a speed trap

ps - The gps I used was the one provided by the car rental company Kumho.

Lol the jackpot 'ting ting' sound. Yeah I remember that. I think it sound once you are safe from speed trap or when you are approaching one.

The East-West road that go through Ilchubong was a fun drive. Got to see some beautiful beach and Wind Generator.

or worse yet, to see the rental car company deduct your credit card for summons XD
