any suggestions? and between avis n KT kumho which is better? ive checked the rates and seems tat avis has better/cheaper rates.plus they have english gps for rent.

Another thing, is it worth to get the public transit pass or T-money card? since i'll be there 8 days. Moree info on the public transit pass as below

gps is just voice in english..menu is still korean. smile.gif jeju is not very hilly imo but still have a fair amount of hills since its a countryside kinda place. if u drive thru mt hallasan, from jeju city to seogwipo, definitely a lot of bends here and there. smile.gif both cars should work fine, only slower mar..haha. i drive alone also use kia forte..cuz i know going thru mount hallasan..hehe

for most us, i think we just use t-money since can use for paying other things as well. i think m-pass not useable for buses and other subway lines like korail?

ok, better than no english at all lol. It will be like driving in the desert then. How about the signboards? got english as well rite? and how much is the petrol there for 1L? ok, if tats d case i think il jus stick to the T money.

Isit worth to travel to Busan for just 1 day trip (go morning bck evning)? any places to recommend there? if not then ill just skip it.ohya, before i forget, where can i buy a heater pack? i think i will nid one coz my hand gets cold easily. =="

Because just now i wanna sign up as member and realised a column need *IDL which is a must fill requirement, i dont have IDL yet..

i see, 1900won roughly RM 5/Liter  rclxub.gif

how much is ur total fuel expenses, if for 3D2N tour?
*
I think its cheaper if u rent via kumho, but as reg member coz u"ll get alot of discounts.i just came bck from korea last week n we rented a brand new avante frm kumho for 80,800 won for 2days in jeju including full insurance coverage, eng gps and wireless(select egg in the option).we paid around 37,000won to refill bck the petrol. The guy@kumho told us the rate is around 2,000 won/liter.N u nid the international driving licence number to reg as their member.payment can b done via credit card upon
getting the car(they dont accept cash).if u plan to cover the whole jeju,i would suggest 3days2nites.the driving speed limit in jeju is arnd 50-80km so u might take awhile to reach ur destination.

They give 75% discount if we register as a member. I received a reply from KUMHO to my enquiry about their GPS. Apparently their GPS is in Korean only.  sweat.gif

Mayb when u collect ur car tat time can request for an english gps.

can i bring all my MYR to seoul and change there?
*
not worth coz our RM value very low oni in seoul. There is one money exchnager in myeondong that accepts RM. My fren changed at a rate of rm2.90+ for 1000won there during our trip in seoul last 2weeks. u can get around rm2.75-rm2.80 for 1000won if u change here. I changed half won n half usd.
