Actually im not a theme park fans but fren force me to put it into the itinerary...

need yours advice here smile.gif
*
fren force u to put in then bo bian liaw lo. tongue.gif
its nice in my opinion, its not juz a themepark, got animal section in it as well..the park itself is big, wont feel crowded inside ther (try go during weekdays lah) the firework at the end of the day is superb (during christmas period).. if follow my standard, Everland>USS>HK Disneyland. and the best part is Everland is the cheapest among 3 parks i mentioned. nod.gif oh yea, their Rose Garden section should be ready by now, must be pretty..

Between the T money card or Korean Pass card, which one is better for a traveler in south korea. I will travel for maybe a week time, is it advisable to buy these cards?

can these cards be used in any places in Korea?
*
T-Money is the only card u need in Seoul..the Korean Pass no need 1.. T-money can use on subway/train and public bus as well.. nod.gif

planning to pay a visit to korea oct/nov/dec. but i knw no 1 there.

possible if i get tour? any good recopmendation guide in kl?

i get to know 1 out of 10 oni can spaek english.

please advise..
*
1)u do not need any tour, waste of money n keep bring u go those boring shops.
2)no english is required in Korea based on my experience, basic "1-thousand","2-thousand" they will understand..Myeongdong area seller can speak english/chinese.
3)do lots of lots of homework, and download the apps 'Jihachul' (free) and u're good to go.

i plan to take my phone (off roaming), and on the CALCULATOR for the pricing..

haha..

whats the currency rate normally for WON? it fluctuate daily, and if any1 of u encounter the lowest rate, please let me know so i can benchmark it
*
1000won,u cancel the 3 zero,then times 3 = our RM.
make it simple 1000won = RM3, 10k won = RM30.

Added on July 17, 2012, 11:56 amYou have long way to go and plenty of time to do research. I not encourage you to go buta buta there because you will be at the losing end. Seoul is big. You must plan what to do and where to go. If you go buta buta there, you will end you doing jumble programme. One moment going there, one moment going here, one momeng going over there.
*
this is so true..there's 1 day i take train to nami island, mess up a bit of the subway, not entirely lost but i already feel like wasting precious time.

im confused with various type of naming of their accommodation there.
so typically which kind of budget-moderate accommodation is more family-oriented? guest house? inn? hotel?
*
more family-oriented probably means they will cook n invite u to eat? rclxub.gif Guest House, backpackers hostel suits this category. (got kitchen, living room, free pc to use)
as for Inn,its budget type Hotel.. Hotel juz normal hotel lo..

Been to Everland during Christmas season.. their firework at the end of the day is superb..christmas songs play along.. triple thumbs up. thumbup.gif their rose garden section should be complete i think..the day time parade n night time parade also one of a kind..much more nicer than Disneyland HK imo lah.
