I'm going to seoul + jeju for 8D7N on 08/11 - 16/11, need to ask about the accommondation and car rental for 5ppl. Below are the two guesthouse that currently im looking for it, nice or not?

Seoul - Namsan guesthouse
Jeju - Yeha guesthouse (Convenient for self drive?)

Normally how many days should i stay in Jeju island? My initial plan is arriving Jeju at 1pm (08/11) and leaving at 11am (10/11) to Seoul.

Namsan is very popular among Malaysians, though I've not stayed there. If booked up, try Seoul Hostel -- good location, walking distance to the two famous palaces too.

omg! shocking.gif I just gone for 1week+ already v3. Really cant follow up.

Anyway thanks for the reply. Since I'm on break for this two days, I can gather more info around with your guys help.

My Korea trip, I budget RM 4k (include accommodation, foods , public transportation, entertainment etc) for 8 days. Is it enough? I would be spending 3D 2N in Jeju and 3D 2N in Seoul. The first day n last day is excluded due depart and arrive on airport.

I would like to know which hotel/guesthouse to stay in Jeju and Seoul. Can anyone recommended base their experience.

In Jeju, does the hotel/guesthouse able to arrange taxi tour for us around Jeju?

if u a renting a car in jeju, doesn't matter much where u stay since one in north and one is in south. driving in jeju is nice due to the scenery albeit alot of speed bumps..haha

seogwipo is a small coastal town. depends on u really and the destinations u wanna go. More attractions at the south i believe and going to most places takes from 30mins to an hour or more even smile.gif

If you dunno how to ski, better do it like what I did..go there for FREE. Now even got MRT right till the entrance of the ski resort near Nami Island liao..There probably a free shuttle bus to the resort and just play abit of snow & snap photos can liao..Furthermore, can kill 2 birds wth a stone- bcos ypu can do Nami island in the Morning and afternoon go to the ski resort just to play snow for free haha

Added on February 21, 2012, 4:30 pmBefore you ask me how to go there, Well I dunno bcos last time the MRT not ready yet.. Yu probably want to chk 1st page on the Elysian ski resort posistion and also the MRT station near the entrance

Easy 1-day access from Seoul would be VIVALDI.
Book at your hotel once you are in Seoul.

I think mid-June is already Summer. Maybe chiller than in July-August. Try ask your Korean friend again to confirm.
If its Summer, I think you can wear like in Malaysia already. But normally Summer will have alot of rain. Do pack your rainy days clothes aswell, just in case. Umbrellas, raincoats, leather waterproofed shoes, extra pair of socks etc.

The Koreans call it "Chang-ma 장마", rainy season. Watch the video below to see how it looks.

Ya my wife told me its gonna be rainy season during our trip in July. Hafto do Plan B since our Plan A is mostly outdoors activities.
But I wouldnt complain much. If not satisfied, will set another trip at the end of the year. Hopefully got good offers.

Korean got Muslims also. Not neccesarily Pakistan/Indian Muslims but Korean Muslims. So don't worry about halal food.
*
True. I'm not really worry about the food aswell. But then, I do want to test the original Korean food. Sadly, most are porks. LOL. Sigh.

Might be too early to ask this; anybody living/studying/working in S.Korea? Wanna meet up? I'll be in Seoul; July onwards.

I think Ashcrimson is staying in Korea. Do correct me Ash!
