aiyoh!! I dare not sleeping at the airport ler!! I rather pay for taxi for my early morning flight than sleeping at the airport. I asked Namsan GH to arrange our taxi to the airport at 430am for our 7am Seou/Jeju flight. Cost us KRW70,000.

I think morning train start at 5am. But not sure about airport bus. None of my friend have ever try early morning airport bus.

A friend of a friend one time sleep at the airport. But at the end they couldn't sleep at all (3 girls) because got several ahjussi and ahjumma going around and disturbing people and stealing stuff from their bags. But I dunno weather the ahjussi/ahjumma stole something from them or not. I didn't ask also. I just know they all kena kacau only.

T Money can be use in Seoul & suburb only. Cannot use it in Jeju. I think I spend around KRW50,000 for T money. Also additional KRW30,000 to reload my little sister T Money

U can use T Money for train to Nami though.

Car rental in Jeju must have redit card. No credit card no car. Accommodation you can by cash or credit card.

Bus and taxi use cash but since you have several people better for you guys rent a car. Their buses are not as frequent as Seoul. You may to wait for a while before the bus arrive. Taxi will cost you a bomb if you keep on taking taxi.

1 applied for IPL 1 month before my departure to Korea. If you apply to early also rugi coz validity for 1 year only.

Do you know if all Jeju bus service accept T Money?? Most people didn't know this including me. Thought T Money not accepted in Jeju coz we were told T Money are useless in Jeju.

Just read this thread from the beginnin or from the middle. I also very tired to repeat it. I think I already repeat this 5th times to forumers. Dont be lazy. Go and read. I did my own research & read a lot too.

But I think unker stimix once mentioned in this thread about certain bank in Korea accept RM (I think is Woori bank?? forgot already). Also, there's one money changer in Myeongdong not far from subway accept RM. I never try before but some friends did change RM to KRW. The thing is, not sure if the money changer still in operation or not.

I dunno woh!! I arrived Gimpo early morning & it was still dark. Can't see anything & upon returning we took the train & didn't go out from the airport but the link below is guesthouse near Incheon. Incheon & Gimpo are connected by train. Maybe you can chk out the guesthouse.

Glad you understand that. Blame it on our spoonfeed education system. When I want to go to anywhere in the world, I do my own research also. I read and read. These days, you can find almost anything from Mr Goggle. After that I present my itinerary & any forumers that been there before will help me to correct it or give their ideas/opinion. This should apply in school also instead of teachers giving out information all the time.

Bro, we stayed in Jeju Hiking Inn. Grumpy owner, crappy hostel. I won't stay there again if I am going to Jeju. I wanted to stay in Tae Gong Gak but my sisters running out of budget, so we to settle with this grumpy Mr Kim. Very stingy somemore. We asked him to put the heater on & he scolded us. He said wasting the electricity bill.

It was spring. Day time is ok but at nite, very cold ler!! Crazy old man.

Exactly my point. What really pissed me off when people asked me, how much to bring. Aiyoh!! of course it depend on your budgetlah!! You want to travel with style like millionaire or penny pinching travellers, up to your budgetlah.

Places that I like might not be your cup of tea. So they still have to do their own researchlah

Actually, Jeju got many guesthouse but not much publicity on their property. Yeha is the famous one. Jeju Hiking Inn also famous but for wrong reason Yeha is in Jeju town area while Tae Gong Gak & Jeju Hiking Inn is in Seogwipo area. About 1 hour drive from one hostel to the other.

Car rental is expensive?? Are u sure?? I rented car with KUMHO for compact car (there 3 of us) cost us not even RM300 for 03 days 02 nites.

I should go and chk around other hostels when I was there but we were too busy sightseeing and totally forgotten about especially when we see the field of yellow cannola. We scream and rolled on the ground

I will definitely pick Tae Gong Gak next trip to Jeju. Never mind about slightly rates.

I collect it on 22/4/12 at 930am & return it on 24/4/12 at 1130am. They didn't charge us extra but we must refill the petrol before returning. Full tank. I registered with KUMHO as a member (don't asked about the steps on how to be a member. I forgot already). During the booking process, I encountered difficulty & email to them. So they confirm my booking via email.

Added on December 13, 2012, 7:01 pmThe first nite we return home at 11pm but 2nd nite we return to hostel at 8pm. So scary ler! If got at least 1 man, we won't be that scared. From Jeju town back to Seogwipo crossing through Halla Mountain. The route was dark & not many cars passing by. I was waiting the moment ghost appeared at any corner during the journey. You know, the feeling like something lurking around at the corner but you can't see it. Suspendlah. So the next day, we decided to return to hostel before 9pm.

Added on December 14, 2012, 2:29 pmYou'll be surprised how safe it was to drive in Jeju. The only thing that I think is dangerous driving across Mt Halla because not enough lighting. But if there's an oncoming car, you can see them straight away because of the high beam. Unless if you are local, you know your short cut from Jeju to Seogwipo, basically, Mt Halla tunnel is the only.

Like how you driving from KL to Kuantan. Something like thatlah. But more curve. Not many oncoming cars but you will know because you can see the car light from a far.

There's another way but the gps will give you the nearest way. Unless of course if you are local and you know if there's another short cut without have to cross Mt Halla.
