I got a lens but fungus affected...i want to repair it...is there any shop in klang valley or other places??

go any camera shop and ask them bring it to service center for u?

if nikon... i know the SC is either in Berjaya Time Square or Menara PKNS

im using canon.....i asked few shops in my area...they tell they never provide this service....

Vincent the ex-Nikon guy on Old Klang Road. (zero-one-six)6322968. Ring him up and ask. He does all my lenses and cameras (Nikon, Minolta, Pentax, Olympus). May it be cleaning, repair, refoaming or fungus busting, he hasn't failed me so far and his fees are more then reasonable.

He usually takes some time (a few weeks) to fix stuff though, unless you CLEARLY tell him that you URGENTLY need something fixed.

Oh, just in case you're wondering, he does Canon stuff too (and Leica and Hasselblad and Mamiya and some you've prolly never even heard of, may it be film or digital).

There is a camera repair shop located at Mutiara Complex, Jalan Ipoh, 1st floor, he do all kinda lens repair and cleaning of fungus.

My uncle also suggest Mutiara Complex but i want to find near place as KL quite far from my area

Try Vince first, sometimes he's cheaper then Cheah (Mutiara Complex) while doing a better job. Okay, most times.

if there is any shop near to Klang or Puchong....do tell me....as i staying quite far from both of this place too

I don't think you can get any shop in Klang to do the job.. Hardly can get a shop to sell lens cover or lens hood.

summore the lens is terrible affected by the fungus.....

I went to YL camera service at pudu plaza few weeks ago to repair my 50mm, i also ask them to clean the lens because the lens got fungus too, so repair plus cleaning cost me rm120

Send my 50mm prime Minolta for cleaning at Cheah Camera Repair. I met Andy Cheah (0122568544) instead of Albert Cheah (0126679756).

Informative and would explain what can be clean and what "may not" and what should I expect.
