Avast seems ok for me... quite stable and it block most of the ads and some viruses

fyi, avast update more frequent than avira.
plus, the update size is smaller than avira. therefore, avira need more time to update. somethime cant update at all, maybe internet connection is slow but still, avast can update in slow connection because of the smaller update sizes. |

there free antivirus which cannot up-da-te latest new virus defination so I think you should use paid antivirus software only that you can always detect out what the latest virus if affected
