i not sure wanna make an academic go for engineer or alchemist. Anyone can give suggestions? I am looking for build as well.. mostly pvp... will go for nests as well.. 3 years never touch this game d after the level caps increased to 40.. played a while then quit d.. lol now i am a total noob.. i played Mage ign: OMFGWTF. I more towards ice side but defintiely got fire attacks as well. most of the skills i spend on ice. For fire i just increase recommended levels to add other skills.

Adept is buffed now..so you might want to play it back as your main.

If you properly EQ an adept, you can make gold in PVE.

Fret not, the dmg is high in PVP as well. Unless they already change it

Since you mentioned fire/ice, I assumed you were talking about Adept.

ooh no the lvl40 character is mage (ice) the build is hybrid though. I made a new character which is academic, now engineer.

IMHO, I rather they update swordsman to choose either to become a swordie or a lancer rather than introduce a new character.

guys..i got arnd 150k gold..and returning to dnsea back after 7 months..thinking creating new job.. now considering crusader.. is the job in demand in pubs?nest?

atm no....it's one of the least favourite/dead class...

da mainstream now is assassins....raven and lf mainly...

now change job they didnt give reset scroll anymore?
old char wont be able to get free mount?

once u changed job, your skill tree will auto reset so u won't need to buy skill reset anymore.

old character for free mount? CC won't be so kind so NO mount for old char.

mostly public party won't get a crus/guardian for nest/raid.. my 2 fix team cleared ddn normal and hc without tanker(crus/guardian).. but if BDN, people will get Guardian>Crusader.

if you really want to start a new job and easily to get into party(public party) i had few suggestion to you,

Light Fury(supporting+heal) , Majesty(dps+BT), Raven ( pure dps), Kali(dance 2 + dps) or Artillery.

this few job were easily go get into public teams.. so good luck.
