ermm..my line is very bad. <40kbps download and frequent random disconnection. i think i need a central splitter from the telephone pole outside cause few months ago after i ask the technician come and pull one more line from the pole into my house,2 lines-same number.(1 line for house phone, 1 more for internet) the problem started. i already paid about Rm150 for him that time. if this time i call 100 and ask them to come, still need pay ar?

Try disconnecting your phone, then plugging your modem into the socket where the phone previously was. Do you have a splitter going to the phone? If you do there is no need for a central splitter.

The stats on your line look pretty bad though, could be just distance.

ok the thing here is, my house no got 2 hole to put telephone line, one downstairs one upstairs. the one upstairs is direct from the pole outside, and this hole i direct connect to my modem.

the one downstairs for house phone. no splitter.

You have 2 sockets, 1 line. The phone downstairs needs a splitter.
Which site did you tracert? What are the pings to your modem? Have you got a firewall on?

It's possible that TM's routing servers don't respond to pings. Try pinging the TMNet website and see what they are.

which kind of splitter? i try using the splitter that come together with the modem and still no change. and oh, when my phone rings or somebody pick up the phone my line disconnect.
