This has probably been asked a thousand times, but how do I check my SNR margin? There doesn't seem to be anything on it on my status page (I'm using a Linksys WAG120N modem-router). There's figures for downstream and upstream but that's it. QUOTE Status: Up Downstream Rate: 8064 kbps Upstream Rate: 896 kbps Encapsulation: RFC 2516 PPPoE Multiplexing: LLC QoS: UBR PCR: SCR: Autodetect: Disable VPI: 0 VCI: 35 Enable: 1 PVC Status: Up

QUOTE(holypredator @ May 26 2010, 02:27 PM) Hey GUYS!!! does the type of router you use could affect the Line attenuation or SNR margin?? Can someone answer this question for us noobs? Anyway, can my line support 4mbps without problems? Looking at the first page, my figures wold indicate that my line is ngam ngam "good".
