Added on June 16, 2008, 9:14 pmJust call technician, they said it's a random number for SNR margin. Ask me to disable firewall, delete cookies, and set DNS ( How to set it? rclxub.gif )

The solution is I need to reset modem until I get the good DownStream and Upstream for SNR Margin ... sometimes got 11, sometimes got 21, and sometimes got 7 .. like playing lottery .. doh.gif

I didn't know whether the cap is already stop by October 08 or before, but before I applying for 1 mbps package (before 512 kbps) , they give me 1024/512 on ADSL, but using speed tester, the maximum only can reach 512 max.

That statement will be the hard part .. until now, even after a 3-4 complaint, no one will check the cable outside, all works done in the exchange, either downgrade or reduce the speed .. very easy ..

I've been collecting evidence for 3 month about this stupid below 10 SNR Margin. Beware TM technician who closed my cases and ignoring my request to do a full check from exchange to my DP box before... you blame my place using a copper cable, can't handle 1.5 mb speed shit, 4km away and downgrade the speed to 1mb to get a constant SNR Margin like everyone. Now already 50 screen shot of the SNR Margin below 10 in my folder just by using the 1 mb package.. yeay .. can't wait to boom them this January ... brows.gif

Waa .. today TM call me and tell me to not trust the SNR Margin from our modem (any brand) . As long as you can browse and surf Internet (not included download), there is no such thing as SNR Margin in their dictionary, only SNR Margin from their own are reliable and trusted .. doh.gif

Your Downstream Margin is very low .. 6 DB .. try to restart the modem and check the SNR Margin value for a few times .. if the SNR Margin still below 10DB, it's time to call uncle TM ... you're line attenuation also very high, it should be low .. doh.gif

They should make the report to "Frequent Disconnection" and be sure you write the report number and date ... if you are not satisfy after services, just make a numerous time report until it fixed, they will try to fix it no matter what reason .. thumbup.gif
