My line was close to perfect for the past two years that I've been using a D-Link 500T. There was zero frequent disconnects unlike the TMNet provided Aztech previously.

Last week the DL500T seems to have died and I bought a new DL520T. There was very frequent disconnects so I brought it back to the shop to exchange for another one.

Also called Telekom to check if the yellow box at the end of the adsl line is faulty. The didn't change the box as it tested okay.

Now, about 3 days on I keep experiencing disconnects, about once every 7 minutes of surfing.. it's annoying as hell, and impossible to play any games.

Below is the screenshot of the LA dB info. It's above 60.

What can I do? So many years smooth connection now suddenly like this?!

my opinion, maybe the modem is not suitable for your line
you need a luck to get a stable modem with TM line

maybe i got wrong ,,

Can anyone advice on mine? sad.gif It has been like this for the past few days now. The snr margin for download used to be 20+, but lately it dropped to this low. I changed the splitter, went back to 20+ but only for a few min, then back to that low again. cry.gif Should call them to change my line/check dslam? I face no disconnection if i use the internet for regular surfing only, but if i start using it heavily (load many pages at once, download etc) it'll disconnect very often. Usually around night time.

Just wanted to share my joy with all you guys. I got my Streamyx Line about 3 years ago but never had a stable connection. Always disconnect esp. during rain but sometimes even in fine weather! My phone line is about 30 years old.

1. Complaint to the 1300 no. and the technician came and said I was running parallel lines.
2. Complaint to 1300, technician came while I was out and said everything was ok.
3. Complaint to 1300, technician didn't come. Called and was told technician came and I told him everything was fine.
4. Complaint to 1300, technician came and lowered the line from 1024kbps to 512kbps cos he said it'll be stable.
5. Complaint to 1300, technician came and said my line is old and asked me to report to Telekom (100) to change the line.
6. Complaint to 100, technician came and replaced the line from nearest pole to my house.
7. Complaint to 100, technician came while I was out and told my sis that everything seems ok.
8. Complaint to 100, technician came and replaced the line from the pole with the black box (4th pole from my house) right up to my modem.
* I've made many other complaints but they refuse to make the reports.

After complaint no. 8, my connection is stable for the past 2 weeks. How does my stats look?

I test the ADSL line at 1.00 pm . I always get frequent disconnection around this time ( 1.00 pm - 5.00pm). Pls help me

The status is showing no problems with the line. The spike and lag isn't from your side.

LOL look at mine modem upload ....only 64????

is this a modem problem or streamyx line....any ideas...it is slow, but download stated as 1536
and i'm on package RM 44 /60hrs.....

Hi to all the expert, I need help. According to the modem status for my Aztech DSL605EW, is everything ok ??? Why during day time I can get connected for 1 hour and after that the connection become unstable. At night - 7pm onward even worst, it will disconnect every 10 seconds. Please help and thousands thanks !

The download is capped at 1536. It doesn't mean you can download that fast, it's just that your connection is set that way. Whats the purpose? Maybe if you are thinking of using streamyx 1.5 mpbs, then you can.

Example mine is caped at 3072 but i'm using 512k only. So yeah, thats super cap but sadly, I get 512k only =P (not even full speed, maybe 85%) .

Looks like a misscaped o.O. Your Ds Rate should be 1024 or more because your using 1mbit. COMPLAINT time hehe! Don't give face, kasi cukup2.

Everything looks superb. Maybe it's your telephone line? Worth a try to ask them to check if it's all good right?

Mine is even more worst, having frequent disconnections since two weeks ago, surfing speed is poor and worst of all, the DSL light is not stable. Arghhh ....... look at the screenshot from my Aztech 600EU, you'll be surprised what you see there. I don't wish to elaborate further. mad.gif

also, whenever i pick up my housephone my dsl led will stop blinking for some time but will start blinking again after a couple of minutes(sometimes longer, sometimes shorter).

Ehhh....... that's exactly what I'm doing to get the DSL light stable again, guess we're both facing the same problem. I've called them many times until I give up. They don't seem to know what I'm trying to complain in the first plan. I wonder why they don't hire some people with technical knowledge than hiring any Tom, d***, Harry to be in their customer support department.

i facing disconnection last week and calling tmnet to fix it...
i notice my snr not stable keep change and drop to 10 and below..
any today the tmnet come check they found my socket wall is out of order laugh.gif
they change it for RM5 ,....now my snr is stable at 20 above even bt runing full speed..

What makes my SNR keep changing? And It seems the speed also affected. Called TM, they said its not possible.
