If you're taking 1Mbps package,the result is more than good already...

yup...but no such package provided by TM.It's getting extra.

Usually the readings will show that but your actual speed won't achieve 1.5mbps unless you are just one lucky subscriber.

but i'm still getting 400-500 kbps download from speedtest.net...

i've done everything, reset the port, reconfigure the speed, clearly not SNR margin problem.... why oo why... =(

Pretty shitty, considering I'm on 1.5mbps speed. I can only get 1536kbps for a few days. Sometimes the rate goes to 800kbps. Can I complaint to tm about my bad line?

what is the package you applied?if you applied for 512K(RM66/month) package,that should be good already.Otherwise,you should call to TM there making a complaint.

it's getting tiring being asked to flush your dns/take off your splitter/bypass router direct connect/etc everytime i call 9515. how to tell them off?

Added on February 20, 2009, 6:29 pmi'm on 1mbps package and for the past 10 months was downcapped to 512kbps. Also, for the past 2 weeks connection kept disconnecting and I found it my SNR margin hovers around 2-8dB and my line attenuation for my downstream around 57dB (i.e. it's horrific). So, I made a call this morning saying specifically my SNR is way low and hammering it into the technical support guy.

And I checked my modem just now and I got this.



Hopefully, it'll last longer than a day. This morning's call was my third call to streamyx within a month.

Although the DS Margin only 9, but this connection is fasttttttttt. I'm dont mean by torrent or downloading speed.. but internet speed. Click any button in this lowyat forum and it goes *click* and displays the page within second

Not sure if my package was 512 or 1M...
Coz Im just sharing with my friend..

Back in this week, connection was rather slow..
Im not sure if it was my modem problem.. or streamyx?
Any suggestion?

problem with your upstream, you should get 512kbps for that. maybe this because your US margin too low.. your line attenuation is excellent. but some time this problem can be solved by changing DSL modulation, try to use ADSL2, ADSL2+ and spot which one better..
