my modem dsl light always blinking frequently can i solve this problem with switch dslam port? wanna ask tm technician bout this matter

Javtan how actually u persuade them to chg..i call them today ask them chg DSLAM port..they ask something else...
He said to me i cant simply chg the DSLAM port..SS below..i am on 1.5M...lately been getting 800+kbps + low snr margin + high Attenuation

You are paying for 1.5M but you only getting 800kbps? Who told you cannot change port? Technician or the operator?

The so called technician i called..He even told me there's no 1.5M plan (i hav been using 1.5m for few years, its been upgraded from 1m couples of years back)..i try to explain to them they seems dun understand..

How much did you pay for the package ya? Just asking .. . Anyway, you can write the an e-mail to TM Customer Service .. you'll get respond asap ..

Why you all have so high local atten and low SNR margin?

My atten is low and SNR margin is about 26dB... good or not?

pissed off ady. using streamyx RM60 package. thinking to upgrade.

Hello everyone I am using a Linksys AM 300 / Netgear DG632 / Billion 5112S (Streamyx give).

Before that for 2 years I was using the 1mb Streamyx connection I never experienced slow speed or disconnection at all. I used to get 60.54 Ip.

But now after I have upgraded to the streamyx combo 4mb line I am getting disconnection and slow speed issues and all that, I have tried all those 3 modems with my line With and Without splitter but still the result is the same..

Please Find below the data from my modem, I am using PPPOE and 0/35 = THATS THE VPI AND VCI, DSL Modulation it only gives me T1143 / GDMT/GLITE. I cannot use ADSL2 AND ADSL2+. Tried calling 100 reporting emailing them as welll they say there is no disconnection, then they said we will change jumer but things are the same, Before my modem used to be in fast path with 1 mb but now it is in Interleaved can this be the reason of this disconnection issue?

your line status is veryyyyyyyyy good. SNR margin is high and line attenuation is low. shouldn't have frequent disconnection problem.

try to call screamyx and bark them to solve it.

It looks like the DSLAM is just in your home. It's fantastic...

This is mine.It looks like quite ok currently.But it doesn't work stably sometime while the SNR will drop to 11-12db and Attenuation raises to more than 50db.


Bad time is coming after 1 hour connection.

mine the line to international site is slow...but mostly caused by the undersea cable i think

your line is damn good, as if the DSLAM is in your house
mine also almost same with you except my upload margin is 13dB

actually, how does a DSLAM looks like?
