the rear a bit disappointed, it looks too geometric, look like inspira rear as well. The tail light also similar like flx. If there can make more round, then it would be nice. The front looks ok, looks like the chevelot cruz, if add some kit sure garang.
Again the tail light just too small and too short.
Engine looks like one of the best proton produced interm of matching with those imported car. It looks like a mix of local and continental taste. Important is still the handling and engine efficiency. Handling wise nothing much to complain since many ppl had gave good rate for car like persona and flx. As for engine, it is an upgrade from so called old engine campro, with improvement of cvt. I would said now it is only comparable with viow and city entry. Like persona or blm time, the engine already loose and also fc. With new engine and gear, it looks like proton is back in competing.
Price still bit high for premium, 75K is lik much higher than waya last time. Make it 70k would be good. For entry 60k will do the trick.

so now proton is moving so call our ideal car, but still can't match the big name. Are you going to support proton?
Quality wise no comment, but specs list did gave us a very positive image.

I mean does it important that the 0-100 km/h that important? First we should look to yourself what is the ideal car with price as the benchmark. Without the pricing as benchmark you will non stop compare until next day also cannot finish. Just remember you buy car here you compare the price here, you don't have the choice. Unless you want to discuss other things. I understand that over other country car are much cheaper.
Don't forget those car dealer also earn alot money, if this Preve can do a Accer way, taking Accer as example..... I bet those other brand car dealer might lower down the price. Yes govt got tax import car, but the dealer too also jack the price up to earn more coz they believer no car can provide such price with such specs.
I see proton is trying hard to improve their engine and design. I will give the vote if I going to change car. 70K plus budget for sedan, you better look something more solid like this one or forte, but no no for vios or city for me. But if I got budget 100k above then I will option on Civic, Altis or Inspira etc.....
Actually I would like to compare this P3 with altis and civic and inspira. In sg u can get 1.6 Civc engine car. So this P3 1.6 should be good enough unless u go for 2.0. Car like Camry, Accord is not the same level as P3 so we should stop comparing it.
For me.... good handling, good sound proof, good fc + audio system is OK. Top speed? how often u speed 160km/h? 140km/h any 1.6 car should be no problem. But 140 still give u saman rite?

I wonder why ppl still complaining. Last time, we said lack power, lack smoothness of gear shift, handling lar....
Now they give u improvement, now again compalin. doh.gif
Actually I am quite interested to proton now a days, coz they come out something good which is more practical for car driving. Instead of being sporty outside but lack performance inside. The day when the kereta kebal saga then we see savvy, Gen2 Campro. then CPS now we got CVT and CFE. I think most ppl is worrying the quality of the interior and also assembling.
I understand that assembling also give a big impact on the car itself. As I experienced in my work where those machine make in Jap is much better quality compare to those outside Jap (localized). It could be the worker skill, and some parts after being localized they sort for local vendor for making. So there are many factors.
Ideally the concept and design for this car, can get high marks. But coming to practical, let see how well it can score.
This CFE maybe will give proton another 3 to 4 years gua..... not sure. But the current automotive trend had slowly move to hybird cars. I wonder how Proton can cope up on this. We also worry what will the petrol price will be in 2 years time ahead. Proton is chasing hard to keep track on the trend, make it or not. At least they give a try. With such tight budge like me, at least I am happy to land on this proton car than others brand or those olden proton cars.
