i dont know why u hate forte so much, but if you agree with this proton means it should be nice , hope this p3-21a will be something we all can be proud of, although i would prefer direct injection in the cfe engine.

With our fuel quality, direct injection will not come so soon.

Else Gasoline direct injection of Hyundai would be a really good buy over here with its specs.

like this then the information is not too accurate as other company like VW, Peugeot, Ford ecoboost are many of those that offer direct injection engines that run on Ron 95. So cannot be the petrol is not suitable for DI engines.

Probably the Hyundai GDI engine could not take Ron 95. You do know that in other countries especially Europe, they offer Ron 95.

sure boh, 6 woh, if there is, then nothing much to think loh, but price?

I believe company like VW/Peugeot/Ford Ecoboost detune their engine to be able to run at RON95, so that it can be sold here.

So does the Lexus IS250 sold in US, its running at RON95 but the recond IS250 from Japan? min RON98.
If SimeDarby want to bring in the GDI model, its possible....if Hyundai willing to detune their cars for this market. Which is apparently, NO.

When I asked about crash rating, here is the reply that I got:

- It is designed to meet 5 star rating EURO NCAP (note the word........designed, not the actual performance/test)

- They just shipped the car for crash testing, probably in Spain

- Technique of making the bodyframe is different

I will only comment when this car actually reaches ANCAP, now I can't say this is good or bad  hmm.gif

The car back from Spain was met by Bomba Malaysia. They were told to cut of the main body panels to take out the occupants (if there is) in the car.
The B-pillar is so tough that their drill bit actually broken. Took them more 15minutes to complete the task.

Proton car does have ultra high strength steel this time around.

My news source is genuine, my friends actually designing the collision repair manual for P3-21A/

I'm serious.
Its real anyway.

BLM and Exora do use high strength steel, so will P3-21A where most of the structural parts will be hydroformed.
