Those days, credit for consumers are rare or even unheard of, in Malaysia.

Nowadays, many Malaysians has credit card.

So credit card still need to pay, if apparently there is a lot of people bankrupt, i don't see any slowing down at all, sales still going like hell on luxury items, phones, luxury cars, houses, people still got money so sit in traffic jams no need to work.

last time fresh grad equiped with basic equipment: desk ,chair and minimal resource... they worked diligently.

Now given full internet access computer... they go surf net trying to unblock FB.

i use my credit card i treat it as debit card ..earlier of each month ..i deposit 500 to 800 into my card..then spend it..maybe end of the month i spend 6xx ..then my statement will come -1xx ...then i continue add in rm500 ..and always keep make it in negative value

what i want from credit card is teh benefit 

they cannot own house, own expensive car,

but malaysians also go holiday like hell even if exchange rate is high,

so in theory we spend at least 10x more than they do but still managed to afford it and do it.

They do it because their money is bigger.

So means we are sooo much richer no?

if the theory of 'cannot cari makan' is right, you are not supposed to be able to save at all.

actually, if you are a real hard core traveller, travelling is insanely cheap.

I consider myself as quite a hardcore traveller (LOL).
So i only sleep in train/aeroplane. I bring all my food from home. mini rice cooker, rice, all bawak. Then i always plan such that at night, im always on a train going somewhere. this massively reduces travelling cost. if i have to stay somewhere, ill book cybercafe's or motels.

Because outside malaysia, food is simply too crappy. You dont go for food. you want to look at stuffs. hence you bring ur own food.

this means, you can go to europe with less then RM3K. mostly to pay flight tix.

can cari makan 1 ..if he doesnt carry extra debts ...but kesian to them having 3k salary but want to have 20k punya lifestyle

I think nowadays freshie salary is quite high. Sometimes even better then me after working 7 years.

However, one thing that differentiate us is how muc difference graduate pay for their studies nowadays. When I was trying to get a higher diploma in IT, it was only 13k for 2 years. Now the figure is quite scary. My sis went for a year in Taylor and my dad was left shaking in disbelief when he was told the tuition fees is in the 20k++ for a year not inclusive of the monthly usage for petrol, tolls, meals etc.

most parents are working hard trying to sustain the middle class lifestyle that they have thats why there isnt time for all that leisure. read to their kids is more of a western thing where they dont have to OT so much. luckily there was much interaction in my family so we're fine 
i think they can help set up trade unions ?

nah i notice most parents have ipads/iphone for their work, their children always borrow their gadgets to play. you all see them holding it and automatically think its theirs. this is the case for my relatives, they earn 5 digits too.

nowadays with so many colleges around, anyone can have a degree . the numbers of graduates has been tenfold or more? based on percentage of population of course
