If want some performance/safety ( but a bit less comfort) michelin PS3 195/55/R15 is recommended for the Vios.

1. Basically d higher ur tyre profile d more comfort it is, so 195/60/15 is d 1 tat allows more absorption but a bit more flexing specially when hard cornering.

2. I'm using XM2s for 4mths now n they r good for those wanting comfort although their pricing is rather premium. Continental's CC5 is not too bad either based on d feedback from some users n its cheaper too. Another even slightly cheaper option tat was on my list was Yokohama C-Drive 2 due to its softer compound for noise suppression n grip, but wears out faster too.

3. Sorry, no idea coz me from northern region. But many ppl seem to recommend kedai papan in Klang for cheap donuts n rims.

If not mistaken the original trye size for Vios is 185/60/R15 by bridgestone right?

The original sport rim if not mistaken is 15/5.5JJ (Need to confirm again..) So if not mistaken the best size to replace is to get back the same size 185/60R15 for better comfort.. 175/65/R15 for lower FC & pickup or 195/55/R15 for better grip & handling...

Mine choice is still Michelin XM2 for comfort..

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Try use this tire calculation, if not mistaken if the replacement trye is over 3% too fast of your current OEM size, the FC may effected... If less sure pick-up & FC is better but less top speed due to smaller diameter..

Each brand also got their Pro & Con, just u need to test it out... Even local Silverstone also not bad (Now bought over by Toyo, Japan).. thumbup.gif

Another choice i prefer is Falken ZE912.. Not bad also... But this 1 is more towards sporty type..

Conti CC5 and Yoko C-Drive also not bad and it is more toward your driving style. So far 55 or 60 profile still consider comfort with the local standard road condition but 55 looks better and less bouncy on uneven road.

XM2, CC5 or Yoko C-Drive all are good to go with a decent driver on city drive. Tested Waja with 15" CC5 55 profile, Wira with C-Drive 55 profile, H.City with C-Drive 55 profile and unfortunately no Vios so far that I could remember what type they use.

You want maximum comfort get 12" ones. Can look cool too, I have seen some small cars with tiny rims, looks great. Looks like go kart sized, also lowers the car (that shouldn't be comfortable though).

Beware that 55 vs 60 means the Speedo says something different, and the cops may not accept excuses like my Speedo said I was only driving 70.

That being said I drive 195/55 R15 on my Xsara, which looks great, corners good and with the Xsara is still comfortable. However the Citroen IMHO has a much more refined ride than the Yaris.
