Just got loan approved by Cimb

Rm54,400 for alza advande. 20% downpayment.

3.54% interest rate. 9 years.

A bit high side i think. Last year bought an Axia just 3.19% wit Publi bank.

Mate, try Ambank or Hong Leong. Just got approval for Alza SE with 3.2% interest rate but loan tenure is 7 years from Ambank. Down payment is 20% as well.

wonder if still under employment probation, bank will approve loan as well? even if provide 3 months payslips and other relevant docs
*
No worries, as long as your credit rating and documents are good and sufficient, no blacklist of whatsoever, the bank wouldn't even bother to know whether u are still on probation or not lol.

Depend on individual, I will always go to max like 9 years, if you can earn the money higher than the Bank interest, then why not?

Max 9 years not meant you are not qualify, you know what is your financial condition right, don’t need to justify people, you could disagree the statement but I just calculate at your own that is good enough I would say

Self proclaimed “financial experts” are everywhere. Just ignore him/the troll and move on. Buying a house with “15 years” loan? Wonder how many will be homeless if that’s the rule to go by lol.

My question is how will customer be informed of loan approval. Will the banker inform customer directly or salesperson will inform customer instead?

And loan application was submitted by salesperson to bank. Not possible for bank submit to itself without a 3rd party.
*
Bank will inform the status to whoever submitted the loan application may it be the salesman or others.

Sounds like from the day it got registered
*
Age of the car is based on the date of car manufacture not date of registration.

Common misconception among recon cars or even “cold” model local cars.

Say the car manufacture date is Dec 2010 and date of registration is in year 2015. Car up for sale in year 2023.

That means the loan eligible from most banks will be only 2 years and also most bank will not take up such short loan tenure.

Got it, means it depends on car manufactured date counting onwards + 15 years.
Ya i love old models like SUV < 100k, furthermore it's "cold" model like land rover...
so in short if I were to get an eligible loan let say 7 years for example,
means only option is to look for model manufactured 2015 onwards.

Well of course on top of bank, there are other "financial institution" might able to get a loan,
though high interest.
*
Yup that's how it is.

But do bear in mind that u would likely have problem selling the car at the end of the loan tenure since typical loan no longer applicable other than personal loan with high interest rate of course.

Wah Wah Wah Ambank fix rate right? Not variable?
I thought 2.16% for 9 years is damn good already and yours is 1.88%. Survey across all bank this is lowest Liao next lowest is HL for 2.27%
*
Yup, Ambank fixed rate.

Hi guys , getting loan offer from below banks but I feel it's too high , is it true that Bank Islam / Bank Rakyat / Bank Muamalat has much better interest rate for Recon cars worth 2xxK ? Recon same as new car loan rate .

Pbb - 2.75% 9 years
Mbb - 2.85% 9 years
*
Try Hlb. Got mine 3 years ago with only 2.28 7 years. 9 years was only 2.08 that time.
