QUOTE(shinchan5347 @ Oct 11 2016, 01:10 PM) Most banks have fixed/pre-determined interest rates , based on the car model , loan amount and tenure. Some banks however, depend on your credit scoring and will offer the best interest rate they think you deserve. It means, if your scoring is good, they will offer a lower rate and vice versa. Scoring depends on many factors such as your age, profession, income, existing commitment, loan repayment record etc which are pretty much not within your control at the point when you submit your loan application. My advice to all is to try take the least amount of loan and at the shortest time possible (to cut down on your total interest), yet not affecting your cash flow and savings for emergency. The interest rate is really secondary and should not be the deciding factor in determining your loan amount and tenure. |

QUOTE(Effaw995 @ Sep 17 2016, 12:47 AM) Hi guys. For 80K loan, it is possible to get the interest rates that you mentioned for non-national new cars.I want to get loan rm80k from any bank for new car. Downpayment rm44k. Can I get for 9 years loan with 2.7-2.8% interest rate? And, is it the transaction in bank statement should be thousands ringgit above? Or just hundreds ringgit is enough to get a loan? Any tips guys. The most important thing the bank look for in your bank statement is not the balance but the remittance of your salary/income. For example, if your salary slip shows RM5,123 a month, the same amount should be credited in your bank account and appeared in your bank statement. |

Maybank Subang Jaya has just approved my loan for RM150k @2.69% for 5 years. My Sales Executive advised me to get from Affin Bank which could offer slightly better rate but I prefer Maybank since my previous loans were from them.
