for me, this site is way toooo suspicious already The same registrant has 4 business at the premise but only 1 is still remain active meanwhile other 3 is inactive, inclusive the newegg.my (maybe they haven't activate it yet? i dont know) Base on my pass experience cooperates with Westerner, i don't think Newegg will grant license to such un organized, not convincing company like this... btw, sent email to new egg, pending their feedback if this is true, meantime, i suggest moderator to monitor this thread as well

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Feb 14 2012, 02:30 PM) Newegg does not take stock from distributors, they negotiate their own purchases from manufacturers. In fact, they are so big, Malaysia distributors probably cannot even compare. If Malaysia distributors do not sell to them, it is not a problem for them because stock could be obtained from their other distribution channel. Shipment from China for a whole container is so cheap and considering the quantities they purchase, they can sell them at US pricing for most products without sales taxes. The question is...should they and will they? As a factory, if Newegg really going to open a branch at Malaysia, definitely they will had the information notified to Principle. I doubt Factories will allow Newegg to do so by buy stock directly from Factory and over jump the level of distributor.

QUOTE(alpha_numeric182 @ Feb 16 2012, 12:43 PM) Finally. My prayers have been answered. But you need to pray for another thing: Price structure. i personally think, most factory might won't want Newegg to effect their channel business... at least not for now

I thnk Newegg MY use the term "VAT & TAX" to cover up their margin.
There is no export tax from US, nor MY will charge Tax for most IT products. They are not a service based company, why 6%?
imo the "old egg" campaign is a lost for the old eggs than benefits
