though i waited 3 weeks for it, and the packaging wasnt packaged securely to my satisfaction. just a thin wrapping paper. hopefully theyll package it better next time, if not might have some subjected to physical stress |

QUOTE(Yagami5159 @ May 7 2013, 03:02 PM) You just filled up the enquiries, copy and paste the website link of the Newegg product you want into the textbox only, right? yepjust fill in blanks and wait for their response frankly, their response aint that quick. i complained about the lack of confirmation of payment but it took them nearly one week to reply to me |

QUOTE(asunakirito @ May 19 2013, 03:19 PM) I wonder when Newegg MY starts setting up their warehouse and their headquarters here so that they can help reduce the cost of transportation (RM35-80 for heavy stuff) and shipment delay (2-3 weeks). Otherwise, newegg malaysia is seens as a middleman instead of being official - just an alternative method to purchase items which are not available in MY. Currently they could not compete with the local shops here with their current method of dealing (long wait + high shipment cost) i doubt theyll have a warehouse hereNewegg USA doesnt have a warehouse as well. they rely on distributors for the items. from what i know, (these are pure speculations) Newegg USA operates like this 1) receives order for item 2) head to their local distributor, order item for customer 3) item received by Newegg USA, which later they send to the customer using UPS or any courier. (or the distributor sends it direct to the customer) 4) customer receives item within several days Newegg have always been just a middleman imo |

QUOTE(infernoaswen @ May 20 2013, 08:54 AM) most likely no. Even being middleman now also not much people using their service, I went to their office to collect my stuff. Very small room & few people in charge, by looking at the number of items around there I can tell there isnt a lot of people ordering through them. they go by batches as i recall from reading in this thread. i suppose the lack of confidence is due to people still not used to online ordersIts possible also that on that particular day shipment was little & other days might be more...not sure |

QUOTE(CheaTeRz @ May 20 2013, 07:53 PM) ah well, as for me. i think a lot of time before ordering through newegg just because of warranty term. As we need to bear the postage fee after 30 days of purchased which mean it going to cost you a lot imo :/ same here, i had to think and rethink carefully to confirm my purchases. in the end, i deduced that the risks of DOA is lesser than the satisfaction of procuring an EVGA card (which is not available in Msia)always wanted to try ordering through them but the warranty term is bugging me too much. |

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Jun 24 2013, 04:08 PM) There are many reasons why EVGA has failed many times in Malaysia. It is something that end user will never understand. Things are not as clear cut as "ok evga is an awesome brand in USA so it should be as awesome in Malaysia and every reseller would be overjoyed to be able to sell it". yep, theres a reason why they said EVGA is #1 in USA not worldwide Most distributors and resellers also won't care that end users are buying these cards from Newegg.my. but i bought it for mostly aesthetic and reliability reasons have yet to be disappointed too |

QUOTE(AaronFPS @ Sep 14 2013, 08:45 PM) heh ASUS as usual, my rule of buying from Newegg is simple really"if you cant find it in Msia but available in Newegg, get it" those easier to find like ASUS, Giga, MSI ill usually go local, easier to deal warranty too. but if lets say Powercolor, HIS or EVGA... no brainer, buy it if you think its worth it |
