Damn 10% increase!

Looks like Newegg only good for Black Friday sales then.

Neweggers we have heard your opinions and we have reviewed your concerns and now, we have come to terms in addressing them. Brand evangelists and friends, as you have noted we have made some changes to the tabs on our Facebook page and we encourage you to review it.


Below are some of the highlights we have changed:

1) There would no longer be a 10% service charge on all products.

2) A new tab highlighting the brochure for Newegg Malaysia is in place. So, do give it a try.

3) The currency would be peg at RM 3.5 to a dollar at present.

4) A fix shipping fee would be standardized for all items listed in the shipping and handling tab.

5) Be advised, there is a new tab for items taxable by the Malaysian Custom for your references. So, we encourage you to check them out frequently. Taxable items ie. PSU or coolers.

6) At present, we have two payment method which is PayPal and bank transfer. Customers who wish to pay through PayPal would be charged 5% extra for PayPal services. As such, we encourage our customers to pay through bank transfer to avoid the extra charges.

7) We are updating our FAQ, a shipping list for weight calculation and examples of doing a product calculation. We are also updating on several company policies which would be updated in the FAQ ie. the 30 days policy.

Greetings fellow brand evangelist and fellow Neweggers. In response to the improving Malaysian economy. We have decided to review on several of our policies, which we would be reviewing when the need arises.

We really appreciate your support and the reviews and feedback from both the forums and on the Facebook page, which is both encouraging and enlightening. The following are some awesome news we wanna share:

1) Currency Exchange Rates had been dropped to RM 3.35 to a dollar.

2) Promo codes are now applicable to get more discounts on the product requested. So be sure to look out for products with promo codes. Be advised, there is a time window that we will have to make up for as the promo codes are only applicable for a certain period. T&C do apply in the usage ie. all promo codes usage will end 2 days from dateline for Newegg Malaysia. Likewise, for product with a promo code and its stated "Limited Offer". Neweggers you are advise to ring us up to secure the deal within the day as the time window for its availability is unpredictable.

3) FREE! Games or accompanying items when you purchase products through Newegg Business or Newegg.com ie. Graphic Cards.

4) It used to be said that we only ship limited items, but these days we are liken to Amazon.com where we ship almost everything to Malaysia except products that have WIFI or LTE capability ie. phones or modems in accordance to SIRIM Malaysia. In fact, being able to ship in tablets and laptops which is also WIFI capable is a puzzle to us as well.

5) Speaking of tablets and laptops do check out Newegg.com for some amazing prices. And, the Nexus 7 (2013) 32GB would be priced at RM 999 inclusive of shipping.

We are well aware Asus Malaysia is pricing the 16GB at RM 999 as well and the 32GB LTE at Rm 1300. However, we are unable to ship in the LTE version to Malaysia. Be advised there's a waiting list for the Nexus 7 (2013). Warranty is applicable locally through Asus Malaysia.

6) Be sure to look out for AMD Radeon & Rosewill products on the Newegg website as well.

Wait till you heard Black Friday,

Last year I brought 8GB RAM only at RM95 + shipping while Local store selling at RM180+
This year Black Friday is on November 29 

They actually improving. They have come this far, I really doubt they will close down.

Can I have the link stated Newegg does not recognize Newegg MY ?

Now that is very fishy. 

But I really hope they will take order during Black Friday. The deal is so good last year.
