Yup, the Black Friday deals so far in Neweggbusiness is underwhelming. Hope it gets better.

The black friday sales is a big letdown. After including the shipping fees everything is just as expensive as buying locally with disadvantages with warranty

Depends on item. For example RAMs are cheap.

I think if order 2 or more items there is further discount on delivery, at least that was the last quotation I had.

As shown by Cyntrix only the Gskill ram is worth to buy, the kingston one expensive.

I was targeting the 16GB (2x8GB) rams, Corsair Vengeance ones going for less than USD65 in Newegg Business.

NeweggMY will charge 65*3.1 + 25 = RM 226.5

Not sure if can find any cheaper than that in MY.

Update:

Found a G-Skill 16GB ([ RipjawsX ] F3-1866C9D-16GXM ) For USD 59.99

Only RM210 estimated price. Good deal right?

Update 2:

Found another good offer on Newegg Business, same price as regular Newegg under their daily deals, USD 49.99.

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL

Estimated RM 180 including delivery to MY. That's cheaper than the regular 16GB (2x8GB) Kingston ValueRam that comes at RM135 per piece according to CompuZone pricelist. Some more this is considered performance ram with heat-spread.

newegg MY has opened newegg.com for orders too.

Wah nice but ordering from newegg.com got additional 8.75% tax.

Already ordered my rams, waiting for response.

Update: Heh Kingston HyperX 120GB SSD for USD60 so fast out of stock. In 5 minutes I checking out the brochure already finished...

Update 2: Kingston HyperX 120GB SSD with bundle kit, USD 75. The next better offer still available in business and regular Newegg. Link

Update 3: Kingston HyperX 16GB (2x8GB) rams for USD 51.99. Cheap but G-skill one cheaper by USD 2. Link

Above items I quoted earlier sold out for both sites. Good offers don't last long.

Anyone seen any good deals on CPUs?

And I wonder how does the rebate card work? I read somewhere Newegg will send a pre-paid visa or something once the customer send in the rebate card.

Is this a good deal, it's so cheap compare with local seller.

IF you're ordering from newegg.com instead of neweggbusiness.com, you need to add in 8.75% tax on top of the price.

Then add in the delivery charge of RM25, then calculate if it's worth it to buy it online or just buy local.

Delivery charge do not include delivery within Malaysia itself, so if you're staying in Kedah for example, you need to factor in the local delivery charges from their office in Subang to your address.

I suggest getting this instead.

Kingston HyperX Black 16GB

if i order from the site and get faulty unit where do i claim my warranty ? hmm.gif

According to their FB page, you claim from newegg malaysia to re-send it back to US for warranty. Of course you'll have to pay the courier fees. sweat.gif

Hi, is there any difference when buying from newegg.com and neweggbussines.com?
*
Hmmm normally their FB page accepts orders from the regular newegg website. But during the Black Friday & Cyber Monday sales, they said only Neweggbusiness.com is accepted but later changed it to both regular Newegg and Neweggbusiness because a lot of customers requested it.

So now, I assume if all back to normal, should be from regular Newegg. For the best answer, ask them on their FB page.

So, if normal day confirm have tax also?
*
As far as I know, if the product is under sale, then yes have tax. If you're buying regular priced stuff, then they don't apply the 8.75% tax. I think this is because the discount is only applicable to US citizens or something.

I asked for a quote for 2 items before the sale season, both items are listed on regular newegg.

1 was a ram which was without discount, they quote me without the 8.75% tax.

The other was a tablet which was on 25% sale, they quoted me with 8.75% tax.

I was thinking of buying a headset from newegg. Cost rm50 cheaper than retail store but the long wait is really annoying.. and for warranty you'll have to send it back to them instead of just going to the store.
*
If RM50 difference only then not worth it.

if the discounted item price can eat the cost of shipping and waiting and beats lowyat price, go for it.

otherwise, buy locally smile.gif

should newegg reduce their shipping cost for kg items , they will get more customers, unfortunately, they aren't able to, seems they aren't really official newegg but more like lowyat middleman who does U.S online transaction for us similar to Amazon.  tongue.gif

If the Real newegg company establishes here with their warehouse and provide free shipping will definitely owned all lowyat shops including the online garage shops here. period.  laugh.gif

Cheaper even after delivery by more than RM100.
