Cool, means we can get some of the more rare stuffs. But honestly it won't mean the death of garage sales or even the shop at lowyat. For some stuffs, I still prefer COD

I really hope their source is not from local dist. Hoping that newegg US them self is the distributor to malaysia newegg.

Shipping cost would nullify the cheaper price, and in the end it will end up pricing the same IMO

Apple can do it. Without the need of local distributor.  All their product are directly shipped from china to worldwide.  Newegg also have their own wareshouse in china and US.  Price can be different from US newegg, but if they can sell cheaper than local retailer that would be great already.  If not, what is the point buying online if the price is much expensive than local retailer?

no official news and you guys accept it wholesale ah? that's very wise.
that's a bold assumption.

until the site launches, no one can claim that it'll be cheaper, have more rare stuff and such.
*

Indeed. What I am thinking is this just a spinoff site with local distro, meaning you can only get the stuffs that is available locally albeit online

Can you guys leave some comment on newegg malaysia facebook..there were very slow in building their business..i think, they scared Malaysian pupils not get interested in their business..leave some comment and later we all can enjoy e-market like newegg..there no hassle thinking of delivering and importing component form overseas anymore...

some comment which let them works fast..please guys..

Pupils? Why would they be interested in students? It's not like we are not used to this. For example most of Dell's monitors can only be bought online thus it's not something new.

I dont know but the price diff between here and US is soo big,

take corsair Hydro H100 = here is selling RM479. OFFICIAL site say USD$120 = RM366 as of exchange rate now. I mean how would shipping things from China to here more exp than to USA? Thats a full 30% more exp. We got tax 30% on these thing?

I doubt, not every1 prefer buy things online.
both have their own target recipients.

True. Why I prefer going all the way to lowyat is I know most of the sellers personally and if I have any problems in the first 7 days I can get a replacement there and then

but they start up in Oct 2011, till now US Newegg not aware of this?

Very fishy, no?

Actually it's normal. Companies don't have to tell their staffs everything. You are not communicating directly to the higher ups anyways. just the botfom feeders
