Apple can do it. Without the need of local distributor.  All their product are directly shipped from china to worldwide.  Newegg also have their own wareshouse in china and US.  Price can be different from US newegg, but if they can sell cheaper than local retailer that would be great already.  If not, what is the point buying online if the price is much expensive than local retailer?

Not necessary

When you ask Newegg US anything, you're talking to a customer support or customer relations representative.

They only need to know enough to serve the customers in US. They probably are not aware of Newegg venture in Malaysia yet, as they haven't even started here! While the workers in US only concern with their operation in US.

You'll probably have to ask the Newegg boss, they are the one who will know. 

I have always been hoping for Newegg to set up their business in Malaysia, and now they're finally coming .

Hopefully it'll be as good as it is in other countries.
