Update 2: Kingston HyperX 120GB SSD with bundle kit, USD 75. The next better offer still available in business and regular Newegg. Link

Above items I quoted earlier sold out for both sites. Good offers don't last long.

Anyone seen any good deals on CPUs?

And I wonder how does the rebate card work? I read somewhere Newegg will send a pre-paid visa or something once the customer send in the rebate card.

IF you're ordering from newegg.com instead of neweggbusiness.com, you need to add in 8.75% tax on top of the price.

Then add in the delivery charge of RM25, then calculate if it's worth it to buy it online or just buy local.

Delivery charge do not include delivery within Malaysia itself, so if you're staying in Kedah for example, you need to factor in the local delivery charges from their office in Subang to your address.

I suggest getting this instead.

Kingston HyperX Black 16GB

Newegg is a very great website, glad it came to Malaysia... I used to buy lots of computer stuffs back in the United States... Great customer support and fast shipping. Hopefully Malaysia will get the same great support too.

According to their FB page, you claim from newegg malaysia to re-send it back to US for warranty. Of course you'll have to pay the courier fees. sweat.gif

Hmmm normally their FB page accepts orders from the regular newegg website. But during the Black Friday & Cyber Monday sales, they said only Neweggbusiness.com is accepted but later changed it to both regular Newegg and Neweggbusiness because a lot of customers requested it.

So now, I assume if all back to normal, should be from regular Newegg. For the best answer, ask them on their FB page.

Oh, Im asking here because, before this I filed the quote form to them and they replied me the price.
But they said in the email
CODE
This item is from Newegg.com therefore there will be 8.75% sales tax incurred.

So, I thought that buying from Neweggbusiness.com maybe no tax. biggrin.gif
Thanks for the info btw.

As far as I know, if the product is under sale, then yes have tax. If you're buying regular priced stuff, then they don't apply the 8.75% tax. I think this is because the discount is only applicable to US citizens or something.

I asked for a quote for 2 items before the sale season, both items are listed on regular newegg.

1 was a ram which was without discount, they quote me without the 8.75% tax.

The other was a tablet which was on 25% sale, they quoted me with 8.75% tax.
