I heard that the Japnese perm looks more naturally. Of course with the natural one, the curl drops more easily and faster, which means it would not last long if to compare to Digital perm.

I did twice the Japanese perm, if not mistaken some called it as Spa perm.

To be frank, it did looks natural and also drop pretty fast. Provided if you are to take care of your hair nicely and is not lazy to put on conditioner cream for the curl to stay, it would last longer or else it would drop easily and it looks alike straighten hair if you are to comb it after washed.

In my case, the curl actually stay even the curl dropped. What i meant is: let's say when my hair first came out with 3 curls, then when time passed, it would dropped and left 2 curls, but then the curls stay perfectly still. Some people might found the curl did not stay (i would say it also depends on individual).

Also, i am pretty lazy in putting on the conditioner cream and used to comb my hair after washed. Hence, no one knows that i have permed my hair until one day i make up on it. Until today, i cut off the curly hair and left about half curl. Usually, i would just do not bother much on the hair but occasionally i would still try to put on cream and see if the curl still there. It did and you will find it works perfectly if you are to put more cream on it as the curl would not stays strong (only half curl left). Blow it with skills after putting on the cream would help to style a natural curly hairstyle.

In my case, the curl stays for 6-9 months as i cut it few times between the duration.

I think the price would be much different.
