ya, i thought polishing should cost not more than RM3, made me wonder the price include laying the marble.

For >1000 sf, can get rm1.00++ for polishing work

I'm just 500sqt of polishing area..

KL area i think can get less than RM1.50.

i tried Yip's marble polishing service recently. Really reasonable price for polishing my 700+ sq ft apartment. Good service too. Fast and efficient. He came early with 2 machines and 2 workers, and finished the work within half a day. My floor is so shiny now.

Hi. I called up everyone above and more and the best prices were offered by MENG (wife's name is Amy who will speak to you over the phone at 016 360 2000) and also Michael from SC Professional Malaysia. Both charged me RM1/square foot. I told them that I have a 450 square foot of marble floor space that I need polished.

Also Meng does tile cleaning/polishing as well.

RM 1.00/SQft includes polish all type of marble. Does it include

- newly laid marble rough surface
- import marble (carrara, volakas)
- grouting using tenax marble gum or white cement?

Sure additional charges lah.

Why do you need to re-polish newly laid marble? It should be included when you contract someone to do the installation.

Newly laid marble if import, we will request the marble laying sifu to not do grouting. We will request the polish marble sifu to use marble glue because it is better than just white cement on yellow import marble.

but apply marble glue charge is separated from polishing marble charge, that is why need to know the price.


I know most people use white cement but after many experience, I prefer using tenax marble gum. It say tenax marble gum problem is it hardened too fast and if it is wrong ratio of gum and white paste, it will not hardened. But if correctly done, it is good.

So I want to ask this.

1. Grouting marble gum charges - RM ???

2. Apply epoxy charges - RM ???

3. mcarelab Stone Neutral cleaner, 1 bottle - RM ??? - sifu say it reduce efflorescence.

We do provide marble crystallization service. There is difference between marble polishing and marble crystallization. Charges are RM 1.80 per square feet for empty house whereas RM2.10 per square feet for fully furnished house. Price can be negotiated only for empty house.
Besides, marble grinding service is also available. It means marbles with holes or cracked will be patched and grinded into same level. Charges vary based on the severity of damage to the marbles.
