Sheep, your contributions to our cause will never be forgotten. It will be immortalized in the annals of LYN MUST history. tongue.gif
You're contradicting yourself. On the one hand, United bringing Scholes back is a sign of desperation and weakness. On the other, City bringing back Tevez is a good thing because manager and player can let go their egos. You can't have it both ways.

In United's situation, we had 3 first choice midfielders out for months at a time. Fletcher out for the season, even. Bringing back Scholes, who had still been training with the club, and therefore SAF knew Scholes' fitness levels, was the best practical short term decision. But you deem this as weakness and desperation. This is quite contradicting also, you yourself said that you have your midfielders out, that just means that the team became weaker in their absence right? Then how could signing Paul Scholes not a sign of desperation? MU have been affiliated with a few midfielder like Sneijder yet no deal went through and so they had to resort to the legend who had retired. In fact, signing anyone at that time would be a sign of desperation. If MU are not desperate, SAF could have just waited for the midfielders to return.

In City's situation, it's more embarrassing. They were busy suing each other in court and both club and manager said Tevez will be left to rot and will never play again. Yet, now that United are back on top, they're suddenly best friends again. And this you deem to be great for the club. Again, Mancini mentioned that he will let Tevez play as long as he apologises and he did. It is not financially logical to not play Tevez when the team still have to pay him that staggering amount of salary per week.

Where's the logic in that?

Ultimately, the side you're with decides how you're gonna argue in that issue.

Frankly, hoping other team lose so that your team can win is cheap

not sure if anyone has shared this or seen this before.

But damn!! CR7 is one mean football machine! This is why he's worth 80m.

hope that more of such test can be conducted on other great footballers like Rooney, Messi, etc.

Nice video, but I doubt they will conduct the same test on Messi because the results will prove that one is better than the other sweat.gif
