Planning to install car curtain in the car, any advise or comment or suggestions???
Please tell more about pros and cons too.

not just curtain...those semi transparent "window visor" that u stick on the window
and u twist it to fold it those

last time its still can be used...back when i was a child
thn dn't know when it became illegal already...cuz it blocks the view of what you're doing inside
not to mention blocking the right side view mirror
if u saw JPJ or JPJ saw u use these sun shades...sure saman
and this is just semi transparent...curtain is not even any transparent

Always used it on my dad's old car during the time when its still legal. Now these old sun shade still in my car.. never really use it as my car is tinted with anti UV..

BTW why TS want use curtain?

Either he drives a MPV or TS is having a hot GF

totally cannot...its illegal regardless of any window u put it on
if u say is a hot day...thn tint is your ONLY answer
and the tint's VLT has to be at legal limit
dn't worry...a good tint will provide u with high UVR, IRR while maintain legal VLT(almost legal but still ok)
it won't be hot at all
if hot GF...only way is either find a dark place or hotel room
tint too dark, sun shade, curtain will get u saman

i once remember people use towel too
but i think that is really stupid, any cheaper way rather than tint???

plus tint is a long term solution
if u divide by the price u pay..its actually cheap
but make sure u got good workmanship(installer is experience and have tons of patients on using his heat gun)

Selain daripada itu, cermin hadapan juga tidak boleh dilindungi lebih daripada 20 peratus daripada panjang cermin hadapan kenderaan.

Sun shades illegal?

I only stick it on the window when parked, not when driving.

Sun shade can use la. when you park your car. only during driving mode you can't shade your car
But car curtain is illegal

Actually still dont know the reason cannot put curtain, bus alot got put mah.

this sentence said that cannot block the view of driver only, so i think rear can lah, or should go/call jpj ask?

serious? i use that cover all my side windows..

reason is they want to see whats inside and what you're doing inside
bus alot got put?...what bus?...i've seen alot of bus and non of them got curtains

i think u should call JPJ..to confirm
if they say can...thn u can put
but u know la...police in this country ...their brain only know the simple version...all they know is curtain is illegal
they won't care abt front or rear when u bump into them in a roadblock

If there's a roadblock, i take it out asap...
Best put towel as a curtain, cabin feel more cool...

hi, just back from my a week holiday from staff.
So i called the jpj to ask about installing curtain, they say "itu tak jadi masalah" .

just hope u didn't get stop by JPJ or when roadblock

Last time, during the 1980s, people use towel at the windows especially on long journey. Never heard of tinted those days.

my car came with retractable shades for rear windows and rear windscreen.... I never retract them even when driving... never stop by police/jpj before....
