yup. never had a problem. i use clockwork kernel (u can use other kernel as well), boot to recovery and install .zip file.. currently using miuiandroid v2.12.0

i use TB before, so far so good but i always prefer clean install, i just do backup for important files only especially contacts which can be easily synchronize using google account.
