QUOTE(antt00 @ Feb 17 2012, 04:14 PM) Its the other way around. G user, stock ROM,KJ2,not a single problem, except for the proximity sensor always on thing. Also, just learned the other day that Battleheart,a game the shop preinstalled for me,is a paid game, lol. Contemplating on whether I should remove it. The game is so much fun! Added on February 17, 2012, 4:16 pm Maybe because you are on custom rom and kernel. Seems like most having issue is on stock rom. |

QUOTE(Fallenangelz @ Feb 17 2012, 05:05 PM) Lol,not that it stabilizes the system, nothing wrong with it being in my phone or it removed. Just removed it now, still doing ok,nothing noticeable. Battleheart, you will be missed. |

Hey guys, what determines the battery life,is it the ROM or the kernel? Might be flashing one soon, since there's rapid development for the G ver now.

QUOTE(Shizuru @ Feb 22 2012, 10:54 AM) Ok, trying it now. But,it's like I can't select the DiGi MMS settings to have it on. It doesn't have the green button on the side to have it on. We have to toggle it on via the APN,right?Added on February 22, 2012, 10:56 am no need to delete. just change the APN type to MMS only on both internet and MMS settings. QUOTE(antt00 @ Feb 22 2012, 11:02 AM) QUOTE(Shizuru @ Feb 22 2012, 11:04 AM) no worries about the green button. means nothing as far as I know. just try it with the normal setting first. see if you can send/received MMS first. Data packet must be enable. It says, check that the network is available. What does it mean? BTW,data packet is enable. This post has been edited by Laier: Feb 22 2012, 11:06 AM |

QUOTE(Positron @ Feb 22 2012, 11:10 AM) Thanks for the info, I thought all the while it would be almost a constant.. Lol,wasn't it you who said that we shouldn't really trust the battery gauge,as it is influenced by many factors,eh Positron? Maybe it's just an estimate.. Anyhow I am putting it to the test, I already left it on idle for about 14 hours, but it went down 9%, as because I got live wallpaper, auto sync, and phone signal all on.. I think it's not normal.. |

Hey guys, how do I put pictures inside of Go SMS contacts? I mean,I already put the picture on my stock contact, but for some reason,GO SMS only reads sim contacts. As you know, sim contacts can't have pictures. Really darn confusing.

Bros, need something for the sifus to clarify. What is your stand on task killer? Against it,or with it. Some of the articles on the internet cites task killer as a major battery drainer, while some thinks otherwise. Can the otais here clarify this?

QUOTE(botakbin @ Feb 23 2012, 03:06 PM) QUOTE(antt00 @ Feb 23 2012, 03:11 PM) Rooting should not affect it. Flashing CM7 will definitely call for full wipe meaning all your app and data are gone. If you use titanium backup you can restore back all your app and data. How it will effect that specific app i do not know. Ok then, thanks. Will get rid of it now then. Been using task killer since first day using phone. Thanks for the clarification sifu. Added on February 23, 2012, 3:12 pm I dun use it and also do not recommend it. Android manages task very well. Also SGS2 got lots of ram. As long as you exit apps properly there should not be any problem. |

While we're talking about quad core here. What apps would really get the most out of a quad core processor? I mean,it's not like any apps on the market right now really needs a quad core. Utilizing a quad core just means that casual android user will now have more reason to be ignorant on how they treat their apps, like not closing it properly,IMO,might be wrong though. Battery wise, well,we'll have to see it in the coming models.
