Ok guys I report back my problem about phone lag that i stated last week.
My phone has 156 hours uptime now. No lag issue occurred again. The pirated apps are the main reason for my problem. Special thanks to 2 people who helped me. One is singapore, I forgot another one.

So, for those idiots who complain about Android super lag, please remove pirated apps first before opening your mouth (kaopeh) or stating the problem at Lowyat forum!

I was just wondering can the S2 play DTS formats??
So far I only tried AC3 can work..

Are you using G version??
The only time the Fruit Ninja lags on my S2 is when I play Fruit Ninja THD and only when swiping the new game button it lags, when playing it no lags at all..
Maybe if you are rooted you could try increasing the cpu speed or maybe put to performance instead of on demand, that helped me remove any observable lag on my S2 ..

Yes, first of all DTS and AC3 are sound codecs, when playing videos S2 can only support AC3, I tried playing DTS 1080p videos no problem, the only problem is that no sound could be heard as it does not support DTS..
That is why I want to know whether is there any other methods to play DTS formats..

THD are for tablets, namely for those using NVIDIA TEGRA 2 and 3 GPU..
But non tegra phones could use chainfire and act as a bridge to simulate the NVIDIA graphics..
I have been experimenting a few NVIDIA games like the fruit ninja and others and I found out that the tegra version using chainfire, the graphics are much smoother and rounder the edges, you could tell the difference between the jagged edges of the non THD version and the smooth, and I mean really smooth edges of the THD..
With the 16XAA, the edges are perfect...

Yes, putting performance mode will push the limits of the cpu, possibly causing it to crash..
But I've tried using SETCPU, but putting it to max 1200 and min 200 and putting it to performance reduces the lag, and will not crash, of course if you put max 1200 and min 1200 and performance, the phone will heat up so much and possibly crashes after a few minutes..

Never cause lags, but if you have live wallpaper which uses extreme graphics on the background than it might feel a little lag..
But I've been using the stock ROM, and I got to say no matter what no lagging that I have noticed...

I did some research since GIYF..
And I actually found out that Dice Player can actually play DTS sound.
I was blown away, and I did not believe so I put into my SD card the TRON movie, 720p DTS mkv file which is about 8Gb and to my dismay, it played flawlessly and the sound was excellent, well unfortunately the speaker of the S2 is shattering when there is like a loud explosion, maybe Voodoo Louder makes the speaker better (not sure).

In conclusion, I've tried other players like the stock player and others all cannot support DTS, so hence still have to give the utmost credit to the Dice Player..

 

Oh no, oh no, big problem...
I tried to put into my SD card a 6Gb and then tried another movie 7Gb,
but then it successfully was transferred but then when I check the details for both movie was only 4Gb.
For both also, so I suspect samsung limits the video to be 4Gb maximum, because before I transferred it was 8Gb free, so both movie should be able to fit into the SD card one at the time.

Hmm, I was wondering whether anybody have tried putting a 5Gb or above movie into the S2 and successfully played it without having the movie to be chopped off at a certain point like mine??

One quick question I was browsing through and I heard someone says for the OTG Cable it must be type B version, if type A it will not work on S2, is it true? How to tell apart?
