Not normal, something's keeping it awake.

With data on also I can get 1% drain per hour if nothing is keeping my device awake for too long
and you weren't having probs with it before right? then yea, probably the case.

can try wipe data/uninstall-reinstall, but doubt it'll help
*
yea unless i can found back the version i use before this other than this i only can run them manually

I deleted that game as well cos i run out of space in my internal SD.  tongue.gif  Maybe i should look into hacking gameloft games to use the external sd.
*
no need to be hacking just some 2 line script will do
i have done it not only for gameloft but for other application as well
even papago gps data file also on external sd card rclxms.gif

Well that did not work on my previous SD card that i formated to add a 1GB ext 4 partition. I gave up after sometime and just let it be.

Turkbey V36 is just a minor update to incorporate the latest jkay.

*

Sometimes some app like the Dice Player turns red color when I check the task manager, then the app will hang..
Why does it turn red??
*
the apps still running on the background
maybe android made it become red when there are apps that used memory above some certain threshold

Oh no, oh no, big problem...
I tried to put into my SD card a 6Gb and then tried another movie 7Gb,
but then it successfully was transferred but then when I check the details for both movie was only 4Gb.
For both also, so I suspect samsung limits the video to be 4Gb maximum, because before I transferred it was 8Gb free, so both movie should be able to fit into the SD card one at the time.

Hmm, I was wondering whether anybody have tried putting a 5Gb or above movie into the S2 and successfully played it without having the movie to be chopped off at a certain point like mine??

Thanks..
*
well it's a known fact that fat file system cannot keep the file with more thatn 4gb

Thanks alot, so in that case must I do a SD card partition??
*
but then again even you formatted to ntfs file system your android may not be able to read them unless you able to find any kernel that had support on ntfs
otherwise you will need to split the movie

I bought many LG goods and I got to say, they are okay..

Having the first to launch the quad core, they are indeed smart, they want to take away the thrown of Samsung S3, they have tested the optimus 4X and have a quadrant score of 4400, that is mindblowing..

I just can't imagine what will be the score when it overclocks..

touchpal keyboard are indeed amazing
i actually throw away all those samsung stock, swype keyboard and even those purchase keyboard

with touchpal keyboard i can easily switch between english and chinese input in the keyboard screen itself
but only draw back is that they lack of malay language pack

other than that swipping and text prediction is awesome

For me, if I want to Swype = Touchpal Keyboard

If I don't want to Swype = SwiftkeyX keyboard
They are both very good keyboards and what I like most is the word prediction.....
*

but touchpal having the word prediction also awesome
just download their language pack even with chinese word prediction also awesome

i love swiftkey x word prediction too but it's not swype able

tested the CR V6 with siyah 2.6.7 for overnite, from 12 to 6, 20% bat loss, not able to turn on the screen, no response at all. hv to power on the phone again. kernel wakelock and alarm was empty.
*
it seems that your phone keep searching for wifi
to save battery just switch off wifi and data when sleeping
you can easily go down to 3% overnight

it seems that line app no matter connection exists or not it will keep sync
overnight bbs alarm show 214
better than previous

QUOTE(Laier @ Feb 24 2012, 02:09 PM)
I always had this question in mind. What are the services that are running in the background exactly? Isn't it like, system resources only? iPhone does it too right? Then why do they have better battery lifespan? What kind of services are our phone running that differentiates between us and them?
*
QUOTE(ellimist @ Feb 24 2012, 02:12 PM)
Go to settings ---> applications ---> running services. Click bottom right as well. These are the stuff running in the background.

Certain apps or whatever also have ability to sync or do certain stuff in the background, these would consume power as well.

I'm sure iphone has stuff running in the background apart from system, just a whole lot less I'm assuming
*
that's true but they not able to multi task as soon as we bring up another apps the apps before this will be on standby mode

oh they also need to manually close the apps too as they tend to lagging too (facing with my sis ipod touch)

at least on android we can know what are the service running backgroud
on my sis ipod i could not find any option to know what are the service runnning
