Thats because from market u can install into other phones/devices.

In their shop, you're screwed. smile.gif

Go read their purchase policy.

yes, i noticed that. but usually i play a rpg type of game until finish and uninstall it. not that i will play it again.
this is a good alternative instead of paying USD6. still ORI version with cheaper price. icon_rolleyes.gif

No worries buddy. We are here to share and learn. Credits are not important as we all here as a family.
I see more pro's and hardly any cons if you are G user. No reason not to get the custom ROM. Well downside I can foresee is loosing your warranty if you root. However some users has reported that warranty claim was done even while the phone being rooted wink.gif
*
yeah i read in the FAQ, that said many have still claimed for warranty even after being rooted.

alright so a MUST do, is ROOT + custom ROM.

another thing i wanna ask the Android family, so far the only tips i read about the whole virus/malware/spyware etc, is just be careful when downloading apps. and try to check commetns or google the app.

do you guys all have antivirus ? is it common/normal to get infected? my gf will once a while be doing online banking on her mobile, so security is kind of important.

Its not a must to custom rom.
I'm on stock rom, no issues for me at all.

No antivirus at all.
Of the family and friends that I have regular contact with using android, about 20+, no one has gotten malwares.

Thanks for all the replies re: TB Pro on ICS. Think I'll hold off on purchasing it first then because I'm on the ICS ROMs now.

The app compatibility thing is frustrating, though. The developers probably have no incentive now since most of the devices aren't on ICS but wish they'd sort it out quickly.

Not having the Kindle and Economist app on my phone is frustrating, haha.

For me batch restore isn't critical at all.

I can always install using www.market.android.com

Easier that way, you can view your app downloaded library and just install.

if you obtain app by legal way and do read on the comment before downloading there's nothing to worry about
if you wan to feel safe you can go ahead get an antivirus but this will taken up more resource though

It depends actually, some custom ROM are rock stable than stock ROM.

some custom ROM are not (such as CM9), but  u have may choice of ROM to play with only if u use non G set.

But urs is G set. not many custom ROM to play with.
*
hmmm i see...now im beginning to understand y some ppl prefer the non G model.

so ROM that i should stay away from is CM9.

Bro Soulseeker & Rattan,
Any idea for the G model, whihc ROM might be the most stable?

as long as u dont install cracked apps and only app from trusted developer, anti virus is not needed. but its up to you.

Are you playing it on a sgs2?
If you're not, you're off topic. Else it's on topic.

But haven't tried the game.
Maybe tonight I'll download it.
