Ah now that I pick up the phone, opened google, and zoom right in, I can notice the pixels. Probably also coz you pointed it out.

QUOTE(Positron @ Feb 24 2012, 01:19 PM) Okay, agreed, nowonder some people on you tube, showed the iphone screen and said it is better than s2.. As he said that if you zoom to the max, you can see pixels on the S2, as compared to the iphone 4, there are no pixels seen even at full zoom.. Hey, can anyone recommend me the best screen protector, which is fingerprint proof.
I went to some shops, they have, but then its matte, which is not that clear, I was wondering if I can buy clear screen, with anti fingerprint.. Thanks.. |

As a general rule, antifingerprint is matte.
You want oleophobic, oil free or what others, I can tell you they don't work. Good luck trying to find antifingerprint and clear SP. |

Screen wise, have to go with iPhone. Saw a friend of my using an iPhone4S,the screen looks amazing, looks bright and vivid while the colors looks real defined. Anyone knows how the iPhone battery is compared to ours?

QUOTE(ellimist @ Feb 24 2012, 02:05 PM) I always had this question in mind. What are the services that are running in the background exactly? Isn't it like, system resources only? iPhone does it too right? Then why do they have better battery lifespan? What kind of services are our phone running that differentiates between us and them? |

Go to settings ---> applications ---> running services. Click bottom right as well. These are the stuff running in the background.Certain apps or whatever also have ability to sync or do certain stuff in the background, these would consume power as well. I'm sure iphone has stuff running in the background apart from system, just a whole lot less I'm assuming |

I'm sure iphone has stuff running in the background apart from system, just a whole lot less I'm assuming oh they also need to manually close the apps too as they tend to lagging too (facing with my sis ipod touch) at least on android we can know what are the service running backgroud on my sis ipod i could not find any option to know what are the service runnning |

I don't like it when the iOS puts thing into standby, games all that will save itself and close.
Load up need to load game to save point. Wastes a lot of time. |

K I don't use an Iphone (nor do I play with one often), but I was under the impression their latest OS "cache-es" the process? i.e. it just saves it into the background, and you can resume directly with the double click or whatever.Load up need to load game to save point. Wastes a lot of time. Kinda like putting your comp into standby mode, then booting it up again afterwards. In the case MYstombox cited, which is an excellent example, I thought iOS has evolved where you can now continue the game (unclick pause), instead of booting to save game all over again? I could be wrong, but that was the impression I got from what ppl were talking bout when iOS first introduced "multitasking". |

Well, thats their version of multi-tasking.
But from my experience with my mom's ipad2 and my dad's ipad. That's the way multitasking is handled by iOS. Games will save into start screen only. And got to restart again. The unclick pause I think only some games have, but I can tell you that iOS doesn't really handle memory all that well. It does not autoclose cached apps. because if i launch some memory intensive 3D layout apps, it just continuously gives me warning that memory low. Not to mention loading the app is slow as hell sometimes. Not crapping on iOS users, I respect your OS of choice and if it works for u i am happy for you, but thats my experience using it. |

Guess I've only seen a few games (peeking over to colleagues phone for instance), and probably those had the resume from pause function. But from my experience with my mom's ipad2 and my dad's ipad. But yeah, long time ago I heard in the initial versions, an interruption, say a phone call, would result you losing progress While the now feature save the game and exit is good, doesn't cut it for me as well. I still have to relatively focus on one task before moving on to another, or fall back on loading the whole darn game again, albeit with my progress saved. Naturally, their implementation probably helps with their battery. |

What is your model/rom/kernel?
Also whats your SDcard? Did you do the SD card speed increase? But then again, the phone shouldn't hang, even after a week of use. This post has been edited by MYstombox: Feb 24 2012, 03:56 PM |
