The Avast! has a lot more feature. You can assign  1 to 2 of your friend's number...then from your friends number, they can send SMS remotely to activate various commands...

If the thief change sim card, a sms will be sent to your assigned friends that new number! You can call the thief and talk to him!

And the thief will say, hey you want second hand S2?? I can sell you very cheap one, half the price..

Hey I was wondering whether the casing for the s2 should be hard as metal or must it be soft as rubber bumper to ensure that the phone will not crack when it falls??

I think rubber case, as rubber case can absorb the pressure of the fall.
*
Yeah, that was what I was thinking as soft rubber will increase the time delay between the impact of the S2 and the ground, and since the force exerted by the ground on the s2 is inversely proportional to the time between impact, the force will be decrease since the time taken will be increased when using the rubber bumper..

Physics aside, but it still dawned on me why do people still sell aluminium casings with screws included if it is that ineffective to prevent cracks when the phone falls on the ground, one thing though it looks more stylish and shiny..

Even though you use a soft rubber seround your phone, still it is not thick enough to protect it if it were to fall from your chest level.

So for me, i use a wrist strap.  tongue.gif Secure

Great idea, but just hope that the strap doesn't break..

smartphones technology has advanced from being a single core to dual core now, rumors are also saying quad core is in the loop, HD screens, powerful GPU in the tiny 4 incher.

I think the only thing is lacking behind if u realize is the battery. Need improvement in technology
*
Well said, but it's a difficult engineering feat to strike a balance between high charge capacity and bulkiness of the battery..

hai, I got a problem here. I installed photovault software.

then, I used it to and put my pics on the private folder.

the problem is, I forgot my password / or can't access my password.

Help ? what's the problem ?
*
Try recalling back your password..
Hope it helps....
Sometimes like a few people said, try putting the password as "incorrect" .
In that way, if you forgot your password, the phone or computer will remind you..

Samsung is very femes for standing monolithic tall among the phone giants by having a strong point which is thinness.. of course the sides they make it thicker, but nevertheless, people tend of forget it as the marketing tool which they use is dual core lightning speed cpu obscures the view and perception of buyers as they keep on thinking of the speed over than the more important aspects like the battery life.. I think when most customers buy the S2 only a few will ask the sales person about the battery life..

I think it's those small aspects in life that makes a huge difference after seeing the bigger picture..

Hey guys, may I ask, GetJar is a legal market right?
*
Well, in terms of piracy it is technically pirated apps, as it contains free paid apps..

But, I think it's up to the user to install pirated apps, risks involves and other things.....

To answer your question, it is not legal actually in terms of professionalism and based on monetary aspects, but it is still at the end of the day, based on relativity, depends on oneself to make the wise move...

Someone can claimed is illegal, but others may claim it's legal..

At the end of the day, it's one's self to claim the legal rights to that website..
In short most people would label it as illegal market..

Btw I am referring to the gold apps in getjar...

I just finished reading the first page, as you know coz I am a noob user..
But yeah, I have to admit that putting it all to the left would be better..
No offence wildcat, but it's still readable but, maybe it's just my preference..

Anyhow, it was excellent..

Hey, I found something strange a few days ago until now...
I've downloaded Go Launcher, but at certain time of the day, when my phone is keypad locked, suddenly out the blue, it just lits up, then dims again, then lits up then dims again for about 5 times....

It had occurred many many times already, and I wonder how to solve this, as in the night, there will be many times that the backlight will be lighted up, and definitely sucks up juice..

Is there any way around it??

Btw: where is fallen out??

I just did the battery calibration, before I used the calibration app, when unplugged it went from 100% to 97%..
So I did one calibration, and when I unplugged, it went from 100% to 99%..
And finally I charge back up to 100% and I press calibrate battery, and when I unplugged it, it stayed at 100%..

So it works...

Battery calibration is useless in the s2. Doing this is just fooling yourself.

The battery auto calibrates.

Hey could someone shed some light on this.
What I noticed is that using live wallpaper yes, it is inevitable that is sucks juice.
On the other hand, when I tried live wallpaper, scrolling the pages from left to right lags quite profoundly.
So I thought I might try using setcpu, and set to conservative...

From my observation, conservative is kinda the best option.
If use powersaver, even scrolling left to right lags alot, and i mean alot..
If use on demand, is good for saving juice, but live wallpapers does not seem to execute smoothly as compared to when I used conservative.
And lastly performance, is definitely the juice killer...
Although the live wallpaper runs most smoothly on performance, but the juice drains most rapidly...

So what do you all think would be the best choice, for striking the best balance between smoothness of live wallpaper, scrolling left to right, and the consumption of juice??

Thanks..

Those Zenonia gamers amongst us, why not make a dedicated thread for the game? Seems like half the posts are totally unrelated to the S2. Each day like 20 new pages about how to defeat bosses and using pots and bladders and what not. Please have some consideration for the TS, spend so long making the thread and everyone fill it with unrelated stuff.

I am not condemning anyone, just please make a dedicated thread.
