i think one copy will still stuck at your own if you decide to buy it on your own account, since you can't buy it as a gift option

then your non GOTY will rename to GOTY under your steam library, you will not get extra copy i guess

dear support mages of lord gaben,

i pre purchased borderlands and bought the dlcs separately.
my copy of borderlands in my steam library is listed as borderlands and not borderlands goty

i noticed that borderlands is on sale today and curiously i tried to see if i can buy the borderlands goty 4pack.

on the borderlands goty steam store page it was stated that i already own borderlands goty.

the steam store system did not stop me from making a purchase and so i went and bought a copy of the borderlands goty 4pack thinking that i will get 4 extra copies in my steam inventory.

i was expecting four extra copies of borderlands goty, if not at least my copy of non goty borderlands would be renamed into borderlands goty.

but instead i only got 3 extra copies of borderlands goty and my original copy of borderlands with all dlcs bought is still listed as borderlands and not borderlands goty.

if possible, i would like to request for a 4th extra copy of borderlands goty.

however, if that is too much to ask for, then perhaps renaming my existing copy of borderlands into borderlands goty is surely more feasible and doable, yes?
