warband essentially is the upgraded version of mount and blade.

I played a couple of hours into the game. graphics wise not exactly the best looking game. if you are looking for open world rpg game this is the one for you. can do anything u like after the first mission. you can raise your own army etc. but the battle mechanics is a little bit odd, once you get used to it I guess should be okay. You would probably wan to apply some community mod that enhances some of the UI elements. I posted a link on the mod few pages back.

Have not started playing fire and sword.

overall I would recommend if you looking for open world rpg with lots of freedom. I am definitely enjoying it, just have not started to sink many hours into it yet.

I went for DX HR vanilla, plus the 3 DLC, figured that I dun need the extra freebies.
u will save a lot if you have ign 15%

comes up to around 20, save additional 3.50.. can use that money for kate and lynch dlc
