lulz its on the news now

aaron ramsey in goal link to whitney death

FOOTBALL star Aaron Ramsey was being bizarrely linked to Whitney Houston's death by fans last night after a series of odd coincidences.
Every time the Arsenal midfielder scores, a famous figure dies. Whitney was the fourth in under a year.

Her body was found hours after Ramsey, 21, netted during the Premier League game against Sunderland on Saturday.

The coincidences began last May when Ramsey scored against Man United.

Next day al-Qaeda terror leader Osama Bin Laden was killed.

In October he scored against Spurs, three days before Apple boss Steve Jobs died. Later that month he scored against Marseille in the Champions League.

Next day Libyan tyrant Colonel Gaddafi was shot.

One fan wrote on a forum: "I'm worried things will get out of control when he scores more."

poor defending cost us in the first half. Vermy look awful with poor positioning. And it doesn't help with the fact that the midfield were nowhere to be seen.

the only reason why we lost in this tie is the difference of class between two teams. thiago silva and mexes were world class defenders. ibra and robinho need not much introduction. compare them to our players, we only have RVP to boast about. our best CB, vermy was nowhere at his best. we deserved to lose.

Just play the traditional 4-4-2 enough, like the invincible era team rolleyes.gif

gervinho upfront seriously? i would rather put AOC upfront instead of gervinho who couldn't control his first touch most of the time.

if we want to revert back to the traditional 4-4-2, the problem is who should partner RVP that has ball control and finishing as good as henry. our current players are nowhere near henry except for RVP himself.

which brings us to the question; is Arsene Wenger still the right man for us?

i said to myself after the completion of the January transfer window that I would not think of that matter again until end of the season, that I will be focusing my energy on supporting the team (manager inclusive) for the time being. but easier said than done la, especially when we are being showcased with the rubbish performances so often as we have been this season
*
up until now i keep telling myself, it's the players' mentality that made them lose the match. not the manager's fault.

i think i'm going to reach the threshold now.

Djorou HAD potential but sadly after series of injuries he never look to get to another level. I recall last season where he was like the answer to the new Sol Campbell, able to read the game, good tackles and headers. But after that shoulder injury he got, he never look the same.

More pics of our 12/13 home jersey leaked. This time a closeup. This latest pic appears consistent with the pic a forummer posted earlier only that the collar and sleeves are Dark Obsidian. The stripe on the sleeves and collar looked black in the previous picture the forummer posted but probably it just looked black due to the poor picture quality.

Sigh whoever designed this from Nike should be hanged...but I'm gonna still buy it anyway depending on how the away one looks.  doh.gif

been told that it's not black and should be something like navy blue before. but from the picture, it really looks weird and way out of tradition. we are red and white. not red, white and blue or something. doh.gif

Epic performance by the team. It's like watching a different team after the penalty. And a totally different team than the one that against Milan and Sunderland. They played with full heart and fire in their belly. I couldn't even think of a MOTM.

Everyone did a great job bar the 2 goals we conceded. Sagna kept Bale in his pocket. Koscielny kept Adebayor away from goal. Vermaelen recovered well after the deflected goal, same as Gibbs. Song and Arteta were dominant in midfield. Rosicky, the heart of every attack we launched. Benayoun made Walker peed in his pants. Walcott got his shooting boot on. RVP efficient as always.
