it checks for a network connection each time you launch the apps. yes, seems to be an 'online' game. was expecting to be able to play it offline...

honestly, i'm a bit surprised (and disappointed) that Zenonia 4 is an online game... you can't even start the apps if you dun have a network connection...

nope... i was in an area with no network connection and when i tried to launch the apps... i got a pop-up that says 'no network detected' (something like that) and then the game just closed by itself. i tot maybe it was my download/ phone problem but when i checked the comments on the Market, seems that is the case. lots of ppl complained as well that it needs network to play.

i was expecting to be able to play offline like Zenonia 3... *sigh*

dunno if its a bug or what...

with wifi off... and data packet off... when launching Zenonia 4, you get...


there's an update today... but the update dun 'fix' this.

ok, got hooked to this over the weekend.

but dang... arena... can't last long... i seriously wonder if the random players are real ones or some computer-controlled clones of real players stats...

is this 'legal'?

i got no emails... how?

oh... the network lady? i go and check... but no free gifts... and of course... no email.

well, some ppl may have used the tapjoy ads for other games much earlier...

i noticed once you have 'done the free zen thingy', the ad dun appear anymore... even on other games.

just wondering...

when i check my items... i can see 1/4... meaning got 4 pages. but i can't use page 2, 3 and 4 to store my items. need to pay to get to use it?

also... on my Note... 30mins gaming... can suck up 20% of the battery... wow... but i was on 3G.

some observations about the PvP...

1. it seems everyone is a blader.
2. there is a tactic to it... RUSH your opponent and bash the attach button (yes, just hack the opponent to death)

well, that seems to be what i have observed anyway...

of course when i try to do that... i still end up losing. dunno why... *sigh*

well, first time Zenonia with PvP. usually i just play the normal single player RPG.

but ya... i admit i suck when it comes to PvP games... can't even play those Street Fighter games.

anyway, i did check out some of you guys mentioned on Pg1. wanted to see if i could bully any of you... i am soooOOOoo weak when compared to you guys... lol...

btw, i dun think those are real players playing in PvP, right? maybe the character stats is correct... but dun think the moves are really controlled by players. i dun see any newbie with my skills...

sometimes, i hit my opponent in PvP till they have very little left while i still got at least half bar of strength... then... suddenly, dunno why, my bar just depleted. could be they hit me?!? but common... i just need to land a blow or two...

also... sometimes i see the opponent knocked down and showing Zzzzz... then i use the Blader special move that attacks multiple opponents... end up, most of the time, my health gets depleted instead...

so... ya... kinda frustrated by the PvP.

anyway, earlier, i asked about the items slots... i can see 4 pages but i seem to only be able to use the 1st page. is this normal?

seems like got a new version...

i kena the corrupted save file a few times before. no choice... restart. once even kena while doing export and then import from their server... so much for keeping my file safe.

as for the saving and then reverting when the enhance broke the equipment... yes, i noticed the save game actually gets updated with certain action. once i saved the game and used some item (i think it was one of the free paid stone). i din like the result, so exit the game. when i restarted the game, i noticed that stone no longer in my inventory.

i guess it does save your game (for certain things) even when you dun click save.

what i noticed... when compared to iOS version. iOS version got daily bonus... we dun get that. iOS version can play offline. we can't... wth?!?

gunner seems to be the easiest for me... long distance... better than druide.

wanna ask..

anyway to identify the items without using Zen? like pay for the service using gold?

also... anyone bought the blacksmith kit? worth it? still need to pay to do combine, etc?

no hack... so i got very limited Zen.

stopped since the arena, etc... can never seem to win.

now playing Dark Legends instead. pvp is more realistic.

pvp in dark legends can be addictive. found myself addicted to pvp. got capture the flag and death match modes...
