Hey guys i am kinda noob in this proxy thing and i just want to know which socks should i use for the BT . socks4, socks4a,socks 5 or http 1.1

Proxy servers may or may not work with BT in my experience. Usually if you find the proxy server, it will list what socks is supported.

BT always use socks 5

if i connect using proxy? can the network admin see which website i'm surfing? or in his network monitoring software just see all my connection to proxy server only? for example let say i went to www.google.com, so instead of he see the web address or he only see the ip adrdess of the proxy server?

They can see the ip only i think.

and also what client connect to their proxy i think...

you mean the admin of my network can see the ip of google.com although i'm using proxy to connect to google.com?

i tot my admin can only see the proxy server ip only so i can cheat my admin in order for me to go to the forbiden website in my network.

Me too!!! Even ping to it is dead (request timed out)! Any other Malaysian proxy server to use? My browsing speed is like shit!!!

On another note; my BT has tripled from 20K to 60K!!!

Odds..my browsing is acceptable, but downloading only hits around 10Kb/s.

i normally go Speed ranking, test every proxy until i get the best one. Proxy
with .sa .jp .mx is not recommend cos they will effect the Google. Or u can go country code, test out other countries proxy.

i now using 202.82.116.26 : 3128. (hong kong proxy).

dunno when Screamyx will block it again.

Btw, all this are international proxy, hope u all understand the effect.
