PC Specs :
Intel C2D E7500
Biostar G31 Mobo
2GB DDR2
320GB HDD
Win7 HP 32-Bit

Panasonic KX-P1121 Dox Matrix Printer connect through a PCI to Parallel Port
Add printer as LPT Port 3 (For 3rd party card parallel port)
PCI Card and Cable are new purchase 3 days ago, tested with others pc are totally ok without problem.

Problem :
1. It will be online only if i remove the device and re-add it back.
2. Everytime restart pc then the printer status will be offline. Sometimes after re-install back it won't work also.

If any sifu know bout this matters, plz do help me with it

A million of Thanks!

Check the following :-

1. Ensure the PCI Parallel card is properly installed with correct driver & the resources is configured as Lpt3 in device manager.

2. Next check that the driver for the KX-P1121 printer is correct. Try re-install the driver by replacing the files when prompted.

3. Check the PCI manual is there additional jumper or dip-switch that need to be adjusted ?

Then cross your finger for every systemm restart...  thumbup.gif

1. Sit properly, driver is correctly install, device manager already shown out highspeed parallel = lpt3 ; printer port = lpt1. Both also try with fresh printer driver install

2. Driver is following panasonic website provided for win7 32-bit. Its a fresh install driver without keeping existing.

3. the pci manual basically its the most simple, just a chip without any jumper, nor motherboard have the jumper to set as well.

Mind if I ask why use Lpt3 when you got Lpt1 ? The Lpt1 damaged/faulty ?

If Lpt1 is damaged/faulty, then just disabled the Lpt1 in BIOS, then configured the PCI card to use Lpt1 instead.

bcoz lpt1 also no respond

plz show step by step of what is your bios meaning, cmos or device manager?
