I dunno Wholleymolley & i am still not really good on photography (so much need to learn & practice). Thus, can't give precise comment on him/her.

LOL i was thinking along the lines of that.

Among all, I'll rate pic #1 lowest.

The rest are quite nice, didn't like the lack of contrast of #5 though.

Good details, nice composition, I'd say you're heading somewhere. I like the subject's interaction with to the camera, and times when she doesn't look at the camera also fine.

One of the better portrait series to appear here, I classify this as simple and nice type. Doesn't look like having any elaborate setup but the subject vs background + composition and lighting worked well.

Thanks Goldfries critics & comments notworthy.gif
for picture #5, because i want to try take back lighting photos (without using lens hood), thus the outcome will have a flare effect, dunno will cause the pic lake of contrast.
And is the any better way to take back lighting + flare effect with good contrast photo? hmm.gif

I wouldn't say better or not, photography is up to preference. However some issues are less accepted.

the light coming from the back is nice though. if you shot in RAW, I think there is quite some possibility to fix it, or at least make it better.

smile.gif that aside, it's always nice to see catchlight in the subject's eyes. last photo is nice but lacking DOF, ideally both eyes should be within the DOF.

look forward to see more nice stuff from you. wink.gif
