basically the article is saying: a CN starcraft 2 acc is priced at ~RM45 for full-access...is that it?

yeah, it says 1 time payment rm45. its not TW server. its CN server. CN server is on its own. TW server is linked with KR server but not CN

Guess its a strategy done by Blizzard China to encourage players to play and compete at high levels. Well you should know games business at China is super duper competitive....

Look at the stats of registered players:

Total: 3,561,083,
Americas: 1,320,519,
China: 324,011,
Europe: 996,563,
Korea / Taiwan: 772,222,
Southeast Asia: 147,768

China's players is about double than our server...

tried EU awhile back.the delay is so-so for me.might be getting CN and EU end of this month....

As mentioned earlier... china gaming business is very competitive, that's why its so cheap.

while its too cheap to believe. still, they got the potential to sell 1 million copy there and only sell 5000 here. (just plugging in random numbers to show how big is their market)

lol if sc2 is as famous as warcraft 3 in china AND everyone buys the ori version.....blizzard can earn like mad even if they earn only 1 dollar each copy.

There's like a billion people in China, of course by default they'll have more players than us, just looking at the numbers..

will be waiting for 23rd feb...gonna try to register new account there...
