i did recommend u stainless steel grill because it look nicer and u no need go and paint it.. there are many design , pls go survey ..u wont regret although it is expensive..

There are two type stainless stell which is the grade i think, i forget what grade dy which both grade have different price and quality of the stainless stell.. Both steel and stainless stell strength i think the same only ..

About the safety, i think u should opt for the steel type anchor wall plug as below link that will mount the grill ...normally they will put plastic wall plug...

The main gate material is not critical for security.
If burgular want to target some house, they will find a way to circumvent the mechanism.
Just find a gate that require less maintainence relatively.
Stainless steel or others, as time goes by, all will look old.

stainless steel is just slightly stronger material. For the use of window grill, it serve as beautification, not to help to improve security. It might even encourage metal thieves, stainless steel worth a lot in the market. You are infact looking for a better designed and quality grill. Highly suggest to look for a proper grill contractor.

Most window grill that normally comes with the house are usually of poor workmanship. Some are even nailed to the window frame.

Agreed bro, stainless steel is rather more reliable in long term of compared to other iron but I do not like the "pale" look of it sad.gif

Actually b4 i bought the house, some thieves broke into it by just breaking the welding point between the wrought iron rod and the frame . The welding is only at the front and back . That's why I wanted to change to ss as it looks stronger and the welding are actually fused together . But I'm not sure if it's breakable and does anyone here has experience where ur ss grill were cut by burglar

i not sure if u use it with the lagbot with hex head...
The anchor wall plug got many type actually, after u tighten the bolt u can actually weld it to prevent someone untighten it..

Just use brasso either liquid or paste will do. Don't use sand paper.

If you want mirror surface, you need special wax(green) and a polisher (either cloth type or felt). The wax cost around rm40 and only avaiable at those engineering hardware shop.
