I just bought a new peugeot 308 turbo. But my sales man told me that I cant install ICE on it. He say when the ECU detected an electricity pull from the batery, the ECU will control the engine and the engine cannot be start. I got a set really good ICE in my store room which I take out from my old car which have 1 monoblock, 1 amp, 2 woofers, 4 speakers, 1 head unit and 1 premap. I was shock when I was been told cant install it on my car. Any shifu here know how to modify it or solve the problem? I really wan ICE in my car so badly!! thx biggrin.gif

Actually it can be install..but what the sales man is trying to advice you...should anything goes wrong...dont come looking for him for warranty claim. Since you bought the ICE...try getting a reputable installer to do a good installation work, this will not void any warranty.

no, the device i meant is under the red cover on the battery. It seem like a board or smth. My fren told me that if I take current from the board then I will face the problem (engine cannot start). my fren told me if I take electricity direct from battery which is quite deep inside then should be okay... is that true? My fren say he guess only, he not sure about that. any idea

I dont know the name of the red box, but that box can be removed to acess the the battery. That box has a terminal connectd to the battery...in other word should in future you change battery you must removed the red box. So to power up your ICE..the power cable should be connected to your battery terminal only.

Sure can work or else how to access the battery. You may refer the step to removed the red box in this link

Also get an installer that knows how to do it..as Howie says " There's no car that can't do ice" brows.gif
