About Our Product
1) High absorbent: Made from sodium silicate, is a highly porous substance that can absorb up to 40% of its own weight, which makes this the highest absorption capacity of any commercially used silica gels.
2) Food grade silica gel: Our silica gels are non-toxic and 100% safe to be used with edibles.
3) Cobalt Chloride-free: Some silica gels have been impregnated with cobalt chloride that can cause significant health risks. Some of these risks include possibly causing cancer, along with skin and respiratory irritation. We offer a toxic free, safe alternative that does not contain cobalt chloride.
4) Environmentally friendly: Silica beads in our packets do not carry harmful environmental effects unlike other silica gels that contain cobalt chloride.

Orange indicating comes with full orange beads, while orange/white comes with half orange and half white beads.

Orange indicating serves the purpose of notifying that the silica gel has saturated when the color has changed to green.

Hi, item was sent out on Tuesday (2 working days after payment) via Pos Laju, the exact day you receive item is not within my control. I am going to assume that there is a delay due to Raya week. You should receive by tomorrow, pls contact me if you do not and I will find a solution for you.

If I am using it in a box with speakers and in a box that contains a tv; do you think a bunch of the small 1gram sachets will work fine, or is it better to just drop a 50gr orange bag inside instead?

I will sealwrap the items, with the sachets inside, so it will be pretty much airtight...

1 gram x 50 sachets

user posted image
1 gram x 100 sachets

Each pack contains 50% Orange & 50% White silica gels

These silica gel are Cobalt Chloride FREE / Environment Friendly & Safe to use compared to the blue type which contains Cobalt Chloride. Orange & White are even used in food packaging

Protects and keeps dry:

1) Electronics
2) Stamps
3) Cameras
4) Coins
5) Binocular
6) Currency Notes
7) Telescope
8) Rare Cards
9) Flatware
10) Books
11) Tools
12) Comics
13) Guns
14) Autograph collections
15) Jewelry
16) Leather
17) Food packaging
18) The list is endless

The aim of using silica gel sachets is to minimize the risk of irreversible damages to the items in transit or storage caused by condensing water vapor. By absorbing water molecules, a silica gel sachet will reduce the relative humidity inside a package to levels at which condensation will not occur. This particular orange silica gel product is widely used in the drying of foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals, in the preventing of moisture in semiconductors and precision mechanical equipment, and in rust prevention as the indicating silica gel were reformulated removing the Cobalt Chloride (II) to make it safer to use and environment friendly.

For your convenience all silica gel are packed in clear plastic for easy identification. The indicating beads will turn from Orange/Yellow (OY) to green when it absorbs about 60% moisture and can be reactivated by placing in a microwave oven on a safe sheet until it changes back to OY Color. Highly effective in enclosed containers.

*Replace bag once they are saturated

Btw, can recycle in microwave for how many times that it would still be as effective as new?

Sent.

It's hard to say how many times you can re-heat the product effectively, but 2-3 times should be normal smile.gif

Must say, good seller. Shipping took place rather promptly after payment was made and the package even contained clear directions on how to use the item. Definitely recommended.

Thank you!

Hi sir, yes sure you can purchase the 1g x 50, only RM14.

Yes you do not need to use all, you will be required to seal the remaining silica gels in an air tight container to prevent saturation (use).

They are the same silica gels, but packing sizing is different.

Yes they can be used to keep the surrounding air of various items dry and moisture free.

Interested in 10 gram x 20. Do I need to prick holes to activate the silica gel for this type of packaging? Does this type of packaging rupture overtime and spill the silica gel like those conventional supermarket silica gel packets? How long does it last before it gets saturated in a 300 cubic inches bag?

No pricking of holes required for this packing size. I've not had any incident of rupture.

Thanks.

The silica gels can be recharged to have their moisture absorption capabilities restored. Over time the beads of silica may break down as they are used and recharged. The granules will break apart.

Thanks.

Even if you put too much silica gels in one space, nothing "bad" would happen. It would better assure that the humidity level is at its minimal.

How do I know when they're full of moisture?
Can they be 'regenerated' by baking them in a warm oven?

Edit: Nevermind the 2nd quetion. You already answered it. tongue.gif
Another question. Do you sell ones packed in porous paper packets so it can be put in an oven?

A question:
In order to reactivate the silica gel using microwave, the silica gel particles need to be removed from the original plastic packet.
After reactivated, then supposedly cannot put back at the original plastic packet already because already opened.
Then what kind of plastic packet can be used? Do you also sell this replacement plastic packet?

You can reactivate them and place them inside an envelope or a ziplock plastic smile.gif

But these envelope or ziplock plastic, supposedly do not have the tiny holes needed for the water molecule to enter and contact with the silica gel right?
So if I put the reactivated silica gel into these kind of bags, isn't I am essentially stop them from functioning properly?

Just to share result of reactivate the silica gel.

Testing a small portion. Photo corrupt a bit due to file transfer.

After 1st trial success, then change to a bigger portion. The following shows the finish outcome.

I initially use microwave oven which has oven function. Then later I directly put the aluminum foil on top of my gas stove and just heat it up with fire, then let it cool down. After a short while can see the color changed immediately. Whole process about 15 minutes at most. But the process of taking out the silica gel from the small original packets will consume you a lot of time. So be patient.

My advise is once a small original packet of silica gel is saturated, remove the silica gel and store it in a big container with proper seal first.
Then replace with a fresh new small original packet silica gel.

Repeat this process till you have collected a large number of silica gel then do this reactivation process at once.

I spend about an hour just to open the saturated small packets one by one. it is a frustrating process, so take note. If you do it on regular basic as per my advise then you will not need to go through this exhausting process. Hope it helps.
