I used to be a fan of Launcher Pro Plus, as I can say no launcher is smoother than LPP.
However after about 6-7 months of zero update, I decided to change to Go launcher.
It stutter slightly when scrolling through homescreen but the features and themes are rich, will stick with it for a while.
